We used Our Star Spangled Story last year and LOVED it. I wish they had more for elementary school age!

Tell me what you love about Notgrass History!
When you split them into 2 years, how many times a week Are you doing history? Do you space them out since Notgrass doesn't have other elementary curriculum options? Do you add to it with other supplemental things?
For this program, we are doing 2 lessons a week. I do supplement with picture books from the library also. For example, around President’s Day we read a handful of picture books about Abraham Lincoln & George Washington. We also watched short videos on UA-cam about their lives. Notgrass does also have Our Star Spangled Story which is geared towards the elementary years.
