Great video Scott. A lot of people are asking about doing it in a pump sprayer with some soap. I know you know the answer to this. It will work far better than in a foam cannon. Hey another excuse to use the marolex sprayers 🤣🤣🤣. We love you man. Keep it up

Hey Scott, I think diluting and atomizing the product with pressure washer specially in foam canon is restricting iron removers ability to decompose iron particles.
I have tried using ironX with handheld spray foamer without diluting the product and it worked. As a result it clogged and oxidized brass nozzle. Lesson I learned is spray foamer with Brass nozzle needs to be cleaned right away.
Since Marolex products does not have brass nozzle so I am guessing it will neither clogged nor rust. I need to get my hands on Marolex sprayers.
If I am Dallas next time around can I pick Marolex sprayers/foamers from a retail store?

  • @jdisdetermined

Just too much water, for a foam cannon specific iron removal, not even the cleaner's fault, its just not made to be used that way. You're much better off with a foam cannon specific product, like CarPro IronX snow foam. Actually would *love* to see your review and thoughts on the product, Scott! 😀
Am I the only one that can't live without lots of handheld pump sprayers and foamers? I own several dozen and always have 10+ of them in rotation. I have dedicated units for rinseless wash, APC, clay lube, wheel cleaner, and *iron remover* etc.. They save more time than you'd think, and also your forearms! I can spray iron remover around an entire vehicle in a minute or two, while maintaining very efficient use of product!
Ive tried countless brands, in all honesty, some of the cheapest sprayers I like the best. A no name "wallpaper remover" branded sprayer I got at a garage sale for 50 cents years ago is still the best all around sprayer. I'd pick it over most high end units I've bought.. but Ive never seen another one like it.. For foaming specific units, *definitely* go with a Marolex, they really are the best.. and I've tried them all.. 👍👌✌

Why not just use it through regular hand pressure sprayer like a small garden sprayer. You're not going to get much foam out of it no matter what you do. And I'm sure the acids that are in it are not going to be very healthy on your sprayer so why not just use a cheap gallon or half gallon garden sprayer instead of a expensive foaming one

Why not save some sprayers out of a few spray bottles from household cleaners to detailing products. Then throw away this crappy sprayer and put a replacement in the original product bottle. I have done that when a sprayer failed to work properly. I wouldn’t go to all the trouble and expense of buying foamers or sprayers. You don’t need to spray the entire vehicle; just the lower panels where the iron is most likely to be. That does not take a lot of pumping with a finger sprayer. Also, you don’t need to do it every time you wash.
