@@SICBUM Krzysztof "Derph" Drabikowski aka Христофор, he created the band, its concept, wrote all the music and even produced the album himself. The guy he hired to do the vocals is Bartłomiej Krysiuk and he's the one that has tried to steal the band and his version of the band is the version that's releasing an album this July through Metal Blade Records.
Drabikowski is the true author of the band and his band is the true Batushka.
This one is clearly superior , but the other(fake) one is not half bad tbh.

That's it, i told to myself to not choose either side and wait for the music to speak the truth and it is ultra brutal fucking evident that this here is the one and only Batushka.
I wasn't sure what to think about this whole issue, but the music has made the decision clear. Krzysztof will always be the mastermind behind Батюшка.
If you hear fakeushkas new song on spotify, you can see clearly the difference between the real batushka composer and that fraud. I hope you win the court and take the band back and fix it again, because that fraud, destroys the mighty name of batushka. Your song is clearly batushka like, and theirs is batushka wannabe.

The best introduction to a metal album of all time. It sets the tone incredibly, the sadness, the heaviness, absolutely incredible.
The level of art here is fantastic. The blood pouring through the unseen eyes of the figure in the painting is all kinds of genius.
I think that the figure is Virgin Mary without the child Jesus, as was in Litourgiya album... Maybe because of the split in the band.
The crying painting is a common myth in the orthodox culture

@@TarebossT Well, given the title of the album (Panihida is a form of a mourning sermon) and the lack of baby Jesus in her hands, I would say she mourns her crucified son. But that is also kinda mourning the sins he supposedly died for - no willfull death on a cross without the sins to die for.
This sounds really good and the vocals are better than before. You can clearly hear this man's style of composition, something the other band cannot replace.

The official Batushka profile on Bandcamp just uploaded a track named 'Polunosznica' that will be available in an album called 'Hospodi' on July 15th. The song they uploaded sounds nothing like the first Batushka album, nor this new song uploaded on this profile. I agree with other people that the real Batushka is with Krzysztof Drabikowski.

Ok i just heard about the situation and i am terrified as liturgiya alone is probably my favourite bm album of all time. It introduced me into it and stayed at the top very still, untouched.
