    You can also eat weeds. The dandelion root in your yard is not over farmed and that aggressive fibrous root will have lots of minerals. Don't' just eat the leaves, roast the root . That is just one example. Burdock goes several feet into the ground. The immature flower stalk is a favorite of mine. That is to say nothing of trees.

    Dr Berg, great video, however where we can find out more about your product? What is actually in it? What are the 70+ minerals even needed by the body? Where exactly is your product from?
    Anyone who understands the why already, would also be wanting more info of what your product entails, in terms of ingredients, and also why it’s better or different to any others? And is it the same as many other plant derived trace mineral products that are taken from a large site of ancient soil? "Organic" does not mean the plants have trace minerals. The only way to make sure is to grow your own and add either liquid seaweed or azomite to your soil. You also need to add micorrhizae which help the plants take up minerals.

      @@healthyinformation Plants can only have trace minerals if the minerals are present in the soil. Plants can use as many as 90 minerals. I don't know that you can even test for them. You just have to do it empirically. We do know that soils in many places have been depleted of trace minerals because they have not been replaced after crops are grown.

      Agree. In fact, to be called organic “certified” means you cannot add to soil. Therefore, it defeats the effort to be a certified organic grower.
      Thus, like you, I have a garden. Add things to soil…. Azomite, bat guano, rock dust, etc.
      I try to not dig up. Only do dig when n between and bury kitchen scraps or organic matter layered into. Blitz eggs shells in water in my vitamix and pour on soil.
      I have chickens so have shells and chicken manure in hand.

      And bacterias make short chain fatty acids and some other stuff
      But I could be they also make ATP which you can absorb haven't looked for it now but mostly my theories are true when I google them

I chop these up super finely and toss them in an ordinary salad. The nutrients in wild growing things typically contain many more minerals than shop bought farmed vegetables. And weeds are free! I have osteoporosis, I am 78 yrs. old woman. For the past 3 years I have had more stress and asthma/bronchitis and lots of steroids. I'm trying to get a grip on my health from all the mess I've been through and I know I need trace minerals, but I can't take pills, so I would like to know what you would recommend. Also, I take synthyroid and blood pressure meds. Ofcourse, after all the steroids, I'm now over weight. HELP...

      It’s the standard American diet that is making you ill. It’s likely causing autoimmune disease, causing your immune system to attack its own tissues. Move to a low carb, high healthy fat diet (ketogenic lifestyle). Drink bone broth or take a collagen supplement daily (collagen is a required component of bone and connective tissue). Take Vit D, K, boron, and magnesium with your calcium CITRATE supplement (not carbonate) to ensure the calcium is properly absorbed and deposited into your bones and not your soft tissues. By doing the above, I reversed my osteopenia and have lost 65 lbs in 7 months. Take a tumeric/curcumin supplement containing black pepper and coconut oil (needed to maximize absorption). It is a powerful antioxidant/anti inflammatory supplement. It will help reduce the free radicals and chronic inflammation in your body. Visit Dr. Axe on UA-cam and his web page for more ideas.

      I feel you Ms Fiddle2 I am 71 , and one thing I do now you have to have minnerals and ther are many types of minerals , if you have a lack of magnesium, there are over 300 things one has that tells you you need mag or minerals , Blood Pressure , Diabetes , constipation , heart palps and I had all the test , and I can tell you if I had some mag in me it woudl show a differencs so he is right on even Dr wallack said that years ago , I am gong to try the trace minerals and the electryolyte powders the only thing I hate is the stevia in that , all of the artificial sweetners are very dangerous and once I see that , it turns me away the FDA knows about this stuff and they need to come up with more of the natural sweetners stay away from sugralose and aspartame too I don't like it

    Dr. Berg, what about Himalayan salt which contains 90+ minerals?

    • @athletic1018
      @athletic1018 7 років тому +10

      It's the best salt available, You can also opt for black himalayan sea salt which has even more nutrients, however, according to Eric Berg it tastes like eggs.
      Hope that helps! :)

      Sucheta Arya what about Celtic sea salt?

    • @athletic1018
      @athletic1018 7 років тому +5

      Sea salt is more polluted than himalayan salt because the himalayan salt comes from the mountains compared to sea salts that come from the ocean floors, which many are full of chemicals etc. Sea salt contains 63 minerals while himalayan salt contains all 84. Ofc you can eat sea salt but himalayan has even more benefits!
