At last!!! Someone like me, who makes up for total lack of knowledge of project with raw optimism! Loved it! I was thinking about taking part of my closet and enclosing for beginning of a bathroom. Knowing even less about12v than I do about regular electric, I am now positive I will have to pay someone to do the 12v.
+linda scott Gotta be careful with electricity if you don't know what you're doing. Maybe watch & learn while somebody does this for you and then you can tackle the next project. Good luck!
Brendan's Travels i know this comments a year old, but maybe you or someone else will see it and learn a fun fat about that stool! As he explains, its mostly just a convenience to make things level, however humans naturally are suppose to be in a slight squat when..going..so if you make that stool higher, so that your knees are higher, you will find its easier on your bowels to go and you muscles to relax. I don't know why i know this
Looks like a quaint little nook for a bar. You'll just need one more bar stool for Nikki and a mini fridge. Wait...that would be awkward. :) Thanks for the video!
Why didn't you run the new vent tube to the old vent pipe ? Looks like a very easy solution, no drilling through the bottom or extra holes to the outside.
just a question about the smell from the exhaust fan ,,,,i`m thinking that this install has the exhaust coming out from the coach under the side where you might be sitting enjoying the great outdoors....have you noticed the exhaust smell
Hi Jason and Nikki, I'm not at the age to make major life decisions, but I have thought long and hard about living how you guys do (in a RV). I am just commenting to ask if you guys have any suggestions for what to do about work on the road, and things someone would need to know about living in a RV. Sorry if you already have a video or post about something like this, I just haven't had the time to look. Thanks Alex (oh and by the way, you guys are the greatest).
Maybe you covered this and i missed it, but i'm just wondering, what do you do about toilet paper after you "clean" yourself? i assume it doesn't go into the toilet, right? do we just put in in a bag or something?
Composting toilets create ZERO odor. Only a dirt or soil smell is sometimes noticed. NO water, no sewage or sewer smell. The fan keeps the moisture down so again.... no water, no smell.
Next week we'll launch a new video about composting toilets. Or if you need more now check out the composting section of our website: www.gonewiththewynns.com/all-composting-toilet
More videos please! You guys should do a weekly 30-60min show. Love the vids.
ALL CAUGHT UP ON THE SAILING VLOGS...MOVIN ON THE THE BEGINNING OF THE RV VLOGS!

funny you should mention...our next video is a Q&A where we use the toilet as a side table for coffee talk. :)
Perfect! Can't wait to see.

Same question.
Not a good spot to vent out unpleasant smells esp while hanging out cooking BBQ and the likes.

you can find a lot more info on our website here: www.gonewiththewynns.com/all-composting-toilet
So if you don't vent it, it would smell like a regular toilet right?

When will we see a new video?

Does the fan have to be running all the time?
Megan Burdett
It seems like it.
Another stressor that will bother you in your sleep 😁
what do you do with the TP?
Wouldn't the vent make it stink bad outside?
I think only if you stuck your nose right on it. Which we wouldn't recommend.
What are you doing with your compost since you are moving all the time?
Video to launch next week to explain more details.
2:54 It's a Wynn-Wynn!
Where is the next video?
These things take time, we will have another one out soon. Currently we have 3 on our site: www.gonewiththewynns.com/all-composting-toilet
Gone with the Wynns Okie Dokie - looking forward to it :)
A video without Nikki is like a day without sunshine..!
thanks for the informative video, honestly i cant do my "business' unless my feet are touching the floor so i would have to use a stool
It's kinda weird that the urine container can't be removed without opening the toilet.
SquirrelFromGradLife its no big deal, we have lots more info on our site if you're interested.
We want to know your dirty little secret... Where do you dispose of the compost? Inquiring minds want to know...
this will be addressed in our next video that talks more about 'using' the toilet. Should go live in a week or two.
Okey Dokey... Thanks!

Gone with the Wynns
Do you take out the whole toilet off the floor to dump the solids in the bin outside?
Great video, Thanks! Too bad they couldn't just get rid of that riser, I think the stool would drive me nuts!
