Thanks for the video! I want to buy a trident 660 in the future, but I hear about the stock throttle lag. I know someone out there has a fix, and I'm glad they're making it! I love a responsive bike!
Pretty expensive for a flash file ecu. According to their site its $250.00. If you want a physical ecu obd its going to be $450.00 at least. Just go to your local and trusted dyno tuning shop and they can do it for less than half the price and even eliminate the electronic throttle lag.
@@phmoto9842 bro they had no idea. I had to call the dealer.. my friend and I are going to figure it out in Sunday. I think it’s behind the battery underneath some relays
@@labasrytas2876 yes you can. Since it's more responsive you don't have to pound the throttle most of the time resulting fuel efficiency. Also you can argue with the tfd miles per gallon display. Still greatly depends on your riding style.
Horsepower I haven't checked because we don't have a dyno here in my place. Regardless the drivability and response was better. Some claim to have it 5 more horses.
There is another video with Dyno results with the DNK map and a scorpion full exhaust (maybe an air filter change too but I can't recall what was used) and the increase was to 85 bhp from 80 bhp and 69 Nm torque from 64 Nm and most importantly the remap fixes the throttle lag which is what most want from the remap, an extra 5bhp and 5Nm isn't going to be as noticeable as the better throttle response which is what really makes the bike feel faster.
What I did with MY bike was a miticulously followed DIY simple steps given clearly by DNK TuneWorks with numerous 5 star reviews tested through time. DNK have established its product & service & reputation through time and great customer satisfaction. Diy procedure is easy as long as you know how to follow simple instructions. Tuning nowadays are being popular safe procedure to increase performance of your vehicle. Same as with the modern cars today *2022 having the feature of sports mode, normal mode, and more. Also power commanders. Just make sure before anyone do it, do some reading to have the knowledge advantage. Easy fast and simple and safe as long as you do it with a reputable tuner. When all else fail for the first time you can just reinstall the stock map. Or just reinstall the map.
Thanks for the video!

stock throttle lag gone after system updates on dealer service
Throttle lag is only on the first pull, after that no lag. Its only because of ride by wire
Did it eliminate the throttle lag from idle to 25% open throttle?
Did you do a dyno tune to see if the flash actually dedistricted the bike completely? If the air fuel ratio is proper at all RPM’s?
Didnt do dyno. Its just a noticable difference
Sa liit ng difference sa kmph every gear ang habol nalang talaga dyan yung removed throttle delay at backfire removal.
Hi. How's the heavy in heavh traffic
I wish someone had a video on how to get the ecu out to send it in. I don’t want to take the risk of bricking it’s
If you're not confident doing it, yes better send the Ecu 👌
Hey, did you figure out how to take the ecu out? I’m sending mine in
@@jmanuel722 I didn’t. Got mad and sold the bike and got 110hp bmw r ninet instead
@@jmanuel722 did u ever figure out how to take the ecu out
Magkano po lahat na gastos? Mula sa change air filter pati sa remap? Thank you
The bike sounds great. What exhaust do you have on this bike?
Sir kamusta yung parang pagiging hindi smooth / choppy ni trident pag low speed sa 1st gear? Nawala ba? Thank you!
how do I save the default mapping?
Nice lodi.. collab na hahahahaha

where did you buy the download for trident? also how much was the cost of the download?
At dnk tuneworks youll see all the prices there
@@phmoto9842 Can you share the download with others?
Did you buy the obdlink LX online? Maybe you can share it? 😁
Which exhaust do you have?
It's a custom exhaust made by Orion mufflers from the philippines
Had it changed recently to zard Full exhaust system and updated my remap
What was zard cost? DNK charged again for remap?
Wow that was so amazing bro
Thanks bro
I am thinking of doing this tune. Is the bike still safe to ride? Not too fast?
Safe 👌
I thought its too slow lmao it barely touches 200
@@ostryz3567 That is slow. Without the tune I can reach 200 mph in first gear, and not reach the redline.
@@nerychristian you on something? Trident 200 mph first gear? Are you sure about that?
@@ostryz3567 Yes, it can reach 200 easily. I just place it on a trailer in the back of my Tesla.
Whers that shop tuning ?
What wind screen is that? I like !
Its the oem from triumph designed for trident
lodi..san.wheeltek branch yan..ty
Big change sa throttle response sir?
Yesss
By any chance is there a way i can rent your OBD link just so i can save cost :)
what location shop ng DNK TuneWorks?
Sa uk dnk main. Pero they have partners in ph 7115 moto scoop. Or another optiin like mine guided DIY.
Cio che mostri nel video dipende solo dal limitatore. Qualcosa si sarebbe potuto capire dalla velovità massima
Repa san mo nakuha air filter mo? Online ba yan or available sa PH physical stores?
Online facebook lang
Lazada meron din dna high performance air filter
How do you remove the ECU for the Trident? Does anyone know? I’m trying to send mine in to tuner but I don’t know how to remove it.. 😫
I didnt didnt remove my ecu i bought an obd link. You can ask dnk tuneworks how to

where did you have your ecu reflash
I chose the DIY option from dnk tune works, just have to do it in a motorcycle casa because I have no battery tender/charger.
Hi performance air filter, means let lots of dirt into your engine. Oil foam filters suck.
DNA states it's for Road and Track use
May delay pa din sa throttle sir after remap?
Meron pa rin pero malaki pagbabago compared from stock sa throttle response
D ba ma vovoid ang warranty ng bike
Mvvoid if you tell 😜
Does this fixes the throttle lag? thank you
Throttle lag reduces after the first 2000km, with a good map you can remove the lag completely
What mile per gallon with new ecu map you get?
From my tfd display it was 4 before now it it 6.

only for 5 kmh ? 😑
Not about top speed but acceleration and responsiveness btw we also dont have long roads or expressways to top the speed.
Don’t do this. It blow out my ecu and it had to be replaced.
