You’re welcome. We will tell everyone our bank balances in the next episode. For season 2 we will give away our credit card details as well. You want anymore personal information so they can have an even bigger target on their backs?
Helpful video Saj. A couple of questions, if you don't mind: 1) is circa 1/3 of revenue generally a good guide for profit? 2) how do you identify if there's enough commerce (or tourism?) to make SA worthwhile? Thanks.
Hi @petersingh3255 Generally we can expect the margin to be between 25-35%, some of it depends on the business set-up and the VAT position. We take into account multiple factors when analysing locations and generally you want the properties to be close to busy locations, like city centres, have great transport links, have good amenities nearby this is going to be most appealing for your visitor and contractor markets. We do not really focus on the rural areas for the tourism market, all of our focus is mainly corporate and business travellers.
I’ve been deal packaging and I’m struggling to make it a consistent cash flowing business to rely on. Which strategy would you recommend would be a good business having been based in London. I find all these property strategies are becoming so hard to scale where I’m located. Would be great to get your reply. Thanks and love the videos
This property alone generates £1.2M in revenue a year. Net profit is between £5/£6k a month. Across all of our +50 Units of short-term lets, the net profit equals the same amount of +£1.2M in profit.
Finally you made quality content by giving us actual figures👍🏽

If 2x social housing generates more than that profit why go to trouble of managing that many units?
