  • We're All Cracked Pots is a story my father has told to his students frequently over the years.
This story is about loss, depression, imperfection. This story is also about truth, inner beauty and love. This story teaches us that even though we're imperfect and muster many flaws, we're still human. As humans we make mistakes, we get lost, we lose faith.
I lost my way for a minute there, but now I'm back and better than ever. I'm taking this channel to new heights and I'm going to be showcasing what I love and what I'm good at... Martial Arts!
Let's do this 2020! TANG SOOOOOOO!!

A story about imperfection, a story about recovery, a story about life. Here is a look into my life that some of you might not know.
To the tune of a story about two pots, one perfect and the other slightly imperfect, this time I'm the story teller...

I just returned from my lunch workout at the dojo. So glad to see you back at it. In life, it is so easy to lose perspective. I'm glad you are finding the path. As a Christian, I have learned that God loves me in spite of my imperfections and gives grace. I am a shodan now and I am still learning and growing. This is the way. (and yes that is a Mandalorian easter egg)

How'd it go? Thank you , its great to be back on this grind. I missed it!
It was easy to lose sight for a minute there, but I'm glad I found my way again. Thank you for your kind words and keeping me in your thoughts.
Keep learning and growing and I will too, that is all. I have spoken......

Sensei Ichi the testing was long. Because I have such a busy schedule my Sensei broke down the testing into two days. Altogether it was 9 hours. We did physical fitness, sparring, kata, technique, and written testing. I also did a tournament a week after putting on Shodan.

And God has u where he needs you .trust in the lord with all your heart, and not lean on your own understanding acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Aliyah !! Loved the video and glad you're back! I always try (emphasis on TRY) to take a break during over the summer at some point and over winter 'cause I usually need it and then when I get back to it I'll full of passion and focus for all my creative outlets including business, videos and of course martial arts! Here's hoping your break was good for you and would love to hear a little about your headspace coming back!

Yessss. Taking a break in life and in everything we do is so important, it helps make the things we do more rewarding when we get back to them. I definitely needed that break and I'm so stoked to be making videos again. I've already filmed so many already and I love all of them, can't wait for everyone to see them.

@@SenseiIchi my family and I, are all well here in Australia, thank you for your care and concern. The bush fires here in Australia, have been ablaze in the country, bush areas of our nation. Those of us living in cities such as Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Hobart, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin, were not endangered, nor affected by it.
The winds did however push the smoke into the cities, causing fogs for a few days! Other than that, thanks be to God, we did not endure any perilous or endangering conditions. Some people unfortunately who live in those bush fire affected zones, lost their homes, possessions and livelihoods. Also some wildlife animals, unfortunately also died as a result of the bush fires. Other than that last year, on a more positive note, one instructor was presented with his second dan black belt and certificate, also two other people and myself, were also officially awarded our third dan black belts and certificates, from the Kyokushin Karate central headquarters in Japan, at our Kyokushin Karate Summer Camp, on the 7th of September 2019, last year! I hope that you are having a pleasant week, as well as an amazing start to the year. Looking very much forward to your new video projects, on your UA-cam channel, Osu!🇦🇺🇲🇽🥋✌
