Well...my 68 year old heart gave me a run for my money a year or so ago but I'm still alive and able to sit up and take nourishment so....I"m still here. Thanks for bringing us along!
As a cardiac/teley RN, yes you are on point with the information with EF and im glad you are doing better. Cardiac rehab is important. Remember to take your blood tinners if they stented you. great video. Really makes me lean towards getting a Sako TRG 22 A1.
Glad tp hear of the healthy improvements. I'm new to long range shooting and this channel is extremely helpful. Your humility and willingness to share info really comes across as genuine. Thanks for being relatable and sharing knowledge.
I'd put money on giving up sugars, grains, and foods fried in nasty seed and vegetable oils caused your blood numbers to look great. At least they did for me. I eat lots of steak, eggs, bacon, pork anything, burgers with no buns or sugar filled condiments. I don't eat starchy vegetables either. Losing lots of excesses weight is a benefit as well. Glad you're doing great now! And keep the content coming!
Great news on the health front. I’ve seen some similar situations from folks our age this summer. So glad your numbers improved and appreciate you sharing.
Good to see you're doing well after that heart incident. I had a similar problem but not a heart attack. I had the mitral valve replacement, no blockage. Sometimes we need this in our life to give us a new perspective
Thank you Donmio. It’s amazing to think about the reach that UA-cam has and the folks that can get the information worldwide. Thanks you again for watching. 🇸🇪
Glad you made it. Had a pacemaker installed 7 weeks ago. Was short of breath and had very low energy. Wore a monitor and revealed a very low heart rate. Pacemaker soon after. Back to normal. 74 and going strong!!
Very interesting and while I am not into long range shooting, I do enjoy watching it. Thanks for sharing your health related issues and wish you a speedy recovery. I am much older and have a 70% blockage that has me doing a keto diet. There is a lot that conventional doctors do not have regarding good hard data on cholesterol.
Glad you’re OK! I had the same exact situation happen to me…no warning signs whatsoever, and bam, one morning had a heart attack! It’s scary! Diet changed, and I run 5-8 miles a day now. I’ll be 55 Sunday, so totally understand! Loved the video. I have an MPR in .223 and love it. It runs and shoots really well with factory loads. Wish you the best!
Thank god you’re doing better man. Can’t thank enough for the help and education I’ve learned from the stuff you teach. If you’re ever in Charleston SC I got a nice 1000 yard range and my mpr to have you learn me a few things on.

Glad you're doing good...and thanks for the health info- the old adage, 'you are what you eat' couldn't be more true. Question - what are the camo sheaths on your tripod?
Glad to hear that you're doing well. I recently purchased the kilo 8k ramgefinder and I have not been impressed with for the first few days of owning it. I compared the envoirmental data against a kestrel drop and sometimes the DA by 200 or 300. I'm coming from using strelok pro and a kestrel drop. I'm looking to move up using rangefinder with AB software or to rangefinder along with kestrel.
Good to know Bimmerdude. I have seen some variances as well. However, I have never seen where the small DA numbers make any difference in the data. You can also just link the 8k’s straight to your Kestrel data.
Thanks Thomas! I basically cut out all sugar and candy like Snickers etc. I never drank any sugar drinks so that part was easy. As far as the foods. I ate a lot of boring salad and fruits initially. (No dressing). Then I began eating a lot of Mexican type bowls with long grain rice, beans, spinach olives, tomatoes etc. I also cut out a lot of the breads and tortillas. I learned early on that the plant based meats etc are not all equal and some are actually worse for you. No Starbucks Impossible plant based sandwiches!! That thing is bad for you. You really have to start paying attention to every label. Stay away from Saturated and Trans fat as much as possible. I always stayed hungry. Mushrooms and plant based pastas as well as steel cut oatmeal is good as well. I dropped over 20 lbs that I really didn’t have the extra weight to lose. The Cardiologist said that some grilled fish would be ok as well after losing so much weight. I do feel a ton better. It’s easier than what most people think. You can even eat green beans and pinto beans at Bojangles in a pinch. It’s been a learning process that I wish I would have paid attention to sooner. 👍🏼
@@XRING Thanks! I definitely need to start working towards a heart healthy diet and it would be better to start working towards it now rather than to wait until after there is a problem to try and turn things around. Thanks for the heart health tip. I'm in good health, but now that you mention it, I probably would be at higher risk if I don't cut back on the fatty foods. Cheers.
Dude out of the blue I started getting light headed. I went in for a cardiogram today was tired as crap. I have to go get an ultrasound end of the month and then go from there. I just had covid again, so they said it could be myocarditis. So things are crazy. Be safe and eat good man.
I hate to hear you are going through that KCY. Hopefully they can get you straightened out. Exercise and eat healthy. Even if it’s just for a brisk walk every day for about 45 minutes.

Great comment. Unfortunately. I don’t get most of my items for free. The Garmin was provided to me for review. The Sigs are around 2300 ish but I replaced my old Kilo 3k’s which were about $800.00 back in the day.
I'm curious about this blockage issue. People who have low carb & hight protein diet has no blockages. From what I understand it's the sugars & carbs causing issues. Thoughts?

Well, it’s true. I have the Berger ammo but I’m saving that for Snipers Unknown. Not quite enough Sako TRG left to shoot this match. People say they have good results with the Winchester match. I’m still on the fence with that ammo.
@@XRING well, you must not be serious about winning this match because you are a reloader. I have 3 MPR’s and you can get them to shoot 1/2 MOA with one hand tied behind your back
I've seen this guy smoke. Smoking plus bad diet is a disaster. Especially after 40 years. Meat has nothing to do with it. It's the garbage that people eat along with the steaks. My diet is 90% red meat, has been for over 20 years. Carnivore diets are not new, and they have been helping people for years. If it's processed or man made, don't eat it. If it has carbs and sugar, don't eat it. Do that and eat all the red meat you want and tell me if your health doesn't improve. Calcium score of 0 doesn't lie people.

4 minutes in, I spy Otto ear protection. How do you like them compared to others?
I have been using the Ottos for 3 years now. I feel lost without them.
🙏🏾
What rangefinder was you using with garmrin??
What kestrel would you recommend
Did Ray not get the memo that Christensen Arms is hot garbage?
This one is not and did the job quite well. 👍🏼
Do you own x ring supply company?
I do not.
I'm all for giving up the greasy deep fried foods. That's what fixed your numbers. But, I'm never giving up meat.
I felt the same way but 4 cardiologists convinced me otherwise. I have been diligent and I can’t argue with the progress.
You have always said MOA will get you home
Fact!!
You were also smoking on one of the videos, if you did that for years that is a big risk factor for cardiovascular disease.
Come on Ray you’re shooting Winchester ammunition who are you kidding. Give the rifle a real chance
I have 3 MPR’s and you can get them to shoot 1/2 MOA with one hand tied behind your back
$600? OK relax Garmin. How do they price their chrono and a digital dope card at the same price?
Well, it is a full GPS as well as a few other things as well. Full review coming on the Garmin. 👍🏼
Stay away from the seed oils and processed food. I would still eat a lot of red meat. Check out the work Dr. Paul Saladino has done.
Hope it wasn't the v doing that to you
I never took the vaccine. 👍🏼
@@XRING
You have good chance to get back in shape Sir. Wish you well!
I can only pray you had no VAX or boosters
I did not. 👍🏼
Smoking contributes to heart disease
It absolutely does.
The vaccine
I never got the jab!
