The effects and filters on Tim's vocals were added later at the mixing stage by our very talented engineer and producer Chris. He used a Universal Audio Apollo Twin for some plugins, others were made by Abbey Road and Waves, all mixed in various combinations using Apple Logic Pro.
I know right! We got to thinking about that, it seems the hallmark of this kind of sound is a clean amp with an array of fuzzes to provide tone and texture. Hiwatts are very clean amps until you max them out, Tim uses an HH combo and those things are loud clean solid-state monsters, so perhaps the Quilter would be a good choice? I'm certainly intrigued enough to want to try one as I personally don't own a great loud clean amp. My heart wants a Fender Twin or a Hiwatt DR103 though! - Dan
That only speaks well of the Quilters, and Part Chimp not giving a fuck about gear as long as it sounds loud I guess. Thanks for doing this, you got yourself a new subscriber.
Saw them a few weeks ago. What a sound, the best I heard in a long time. Great band.
Hope to see them again one of these days.
Two things I love about this. Ian looks like my uncle and only using the neck pickup :)
"...cause nothing is ever loud enough"
'do they? oh shit' hahahahha
I’ve never monkeyed around with it
🙄😅
Great to see their effect recipe. I would have liked to know what filters this great singer , Tim Cedar, use for his voice . Thank you any way.

Wow thanks! It's a pleasure and an honour :-)
Why is that weird? They are great fucking amps
These amps are monsters. I sold many tube amps since I use these ( tb201 and od200 models)
