I have a idea on a video for you. Have you ever considered doing a tool box tour. I'm sure others would love to see the tools of the trade. Just a idea.
I never gave the RC ONE much attention, I was content with just Minarellis. Your build series piqued my interest in it. Then you revved it up and sold me on it, I gotta get me one of these.
@@CannondaleF700 not much of a money pit if I tune it correctly the first time. And after messing with a drift car $3k ain’t shit for a fully built racing engine. Modding scooters is dirt cheap compared to cars
Jack over here in the uk the aerox are always tuned up good to see one over there! When you get time have a look at the gilera runner sp 125 they are a 2stroke 125 you can put a 172cc big bore kit and then a 55mm crank that strokes them to a 183cc they are crazy!
As for the throttle cable distance, u can open up the hand throttle assembly, then the plastic white part of twist-stopper can be trimmed a couple of mm to suits your carb slider travel distance... This as good as it get without changine the whole assy with of a dirtbike/fast throttle assy
I know its not as nice as yours but you got my to swap my 50cc to a 150cc and bore it out to a 180cc lol im almost done. I also lifted the shock 2 inches im trying to make it do wheelies. I cant wait until im finished with it. Its just a Chinese tao tao but I still have like 800 bucks in it and I think it'll rip when its done. I did the variatior with the rollers and stronger belt jetted the carb, new cdi box.. all the goodies. I really hope it comes out decent. Im counting on your knowledge Jack I know you know what the heck you're doing! Anyway thanks for teaching us and I cant wait to see this new one rip as well!
Hey Jack I have a little idea for your no charging system on your Yamaha. Find one of those little bicycle dynamo generators that clip on a bicycle wheel and connect it to the battery you are running your headlights and tail lights off so whenever you are riding you are at least putting some charge back into the battery. you could also put it on a switch or a manual liver so you don't have to have it connected all the time so when you are racing you don't have to have the extra drag on the tire. might make it last longer or at least through an entire night or two without needing recharged.
Love the Aerox videos, although I whished you'd film more details or a timelapse or something during the process of working on it, for example during the process of disconnecting the motor, but either way love the videos, Keep it up! I have an Aerox myself :D Looking forward to see how you're going to wire up the lights to DC
Pumped on the earox content ! Would suggest you get yourself a rear suspensionblock to raise the rear hight ... It makes it better to control going full power from a dig ... Oh the tyres are michelin boppers ... The oem ones if you wanted to now dont now if they still produce them tho 👌👌👌
Hi Jack you are really skilled in tuning anything.. Love the scooter content.. Here in South Africa in the Western Cape we love our Yamaha BWS 100 (YW100 / ZUMA) 2 Strokes. This is a cult here and they are becoming more scarce as they discontinued the BWS in 2013. Please build me a Malossi engine for mine .. LOL we work in rands so it would be expensive. Cheers Pierre De Wet
My question is, do you think the 5k plus scooter engine set-up is actually worth it, not knocking it but to me thats sounds a lil over the top just for a scooter
She is going to rip! it also would be fun to see a budget engine build and see how much power would it make, I'm talking Chinese 70cc, some cheap variator of aliexpress :D
buy a yamaha slider, i dont think the have it in america but if you can import one frome europe that would be awesome, they are amazing. much love frome sweden:D
Just use a Milwaukee 12volt battery the 6.0 and convert everything to LED so it won't draw to much from the battery, that's how I run it in my moped last me about a couple of days till a recharged but you have a water pump so maybe last you a day
It's not venturi effect, that's how a carb works, hard to explain it, pritty much get pulses travelling up and down the expansion part of the exhaust, and at certain rpm dramticly increases the power produced, as it acts allmost like a valve, be worth having a look on Google to explain it better
Expansion chamber creates backward exhaust pulses that keep fresh intake charges from escaping the combustion chamber. The shape of the expansion chamber affects the RPM in which this effect is most efficient. I would describe two stroke exhausts as acting more like cams than superchargers, as different chambers move the powerband up and down just as cams do on a four stroke.
@@degenerateactual3080 I just had to lookup two stroke operation, that's why I didn't understand it. It seems to have to be extremely fine tuned to have a proper balance of exhaust back pressure and the pressure inside the cylinder.
What was the price of this engine cuz i bet its more than 2000 bucks in my country its 4000 euros not really worth it just build a high end or a big bore with stock block yourself
You cannot get the flange mount cylinder or correct inlet geometry for big power easily on a stock minarelli. I had to do crazy work to my cases on my 70cc setup to get even close to the power this motor makes with ease. No case boring. No epoxy forming. Just easy power
@@JackCecil how much have you paid to get aerox to USA? I think you paid about 700 bucks for it, but how much was the shipping and all the registration stuff and is it worth it for american teens to do that stuff?
just to prove i'm right, all yamaha aerox, have in built-in throttle stop in, throttle console, just loock yourself, therefore a larger carburetor will not open 100%
I'm glad Carla lets you have toys. Content is always better when you enjoy what your doing. Love all the different projects on the channel.

Jack, stage 6 do a quick action throttle..probably the best throttle to buy should allow for full throttle.
We have in europe few options for ignition.
There is one from MVT which is a Innerrotor Ignition but also juice up your wiring Harnes.
Great stuff Jack what a little beauty see on the next one great channel.👌🤣

earox? its aerox.
the aerox has a build ind
full throttle limit, the throttle konsol, is made for a stock 12.5 mm carburetor
Sick! do you use the stock aerox radiator? you may have problems with the cooling.
Just finished my aerox build hoping to get dyno'd next month
Nice build brother!
You can shorten the shielding on the throttle canble to make it longer to have more travel!
Sweet. Look forward to seeing some test runs.
