I agree but would say top 5. You nailed it stating he surrounds himself with great people and shops. I can't really think of anyone throughout being subscribed that wasn't amazing at what they specialize in, humble, and an asset to the channel. I've been subscribed from before Leroy can't remember how many subscribers but probably less than 100k. Back then it was all C7 content basically. Doing exhaust whistles and such. Leroy was what made him blow up 3000% to see the whole time-line from the video he purchased it, then Jeremy making it a blower C5, to twins, 8 second, 7 second, 6 second, taking out the torque tube, Pete built engine and Tye fabrication, now a C7 custom body. Has given new life to Leroy. I'm just as excited to see world cup and beyond. Seems the sky is the limit. Almost dare to say a 5 seems possible now with chassis work and a billet engine that can hold 3500+ hp to the wheels. Pete's engine is probably 2500hp I would imagine. Takes so much to go faster than what Cleetus is currently. In current form I believe we will see a 6.50s. Live blessed my friend and blessings to your families. J swap Jason.

But this…..I am absolutely blown away at the difference. World Cup is gonna be wild! Can’t wait to see what he does! Poor Cameron, buried to his ears in Eagle but his team will pull this out. Happy that Starr kept the mold to pull a quick turnaround out. Can you do a small frame reinforcement embedded into the fiberglass? Maybe between layers add some reinforcement? Might also give the nose another percent for distribution? I love the collab between everyone. Hats off to all of you. Leroy is always going to be my fav! Thanks for changing my opinion!

Been waiting for this day since the first video dropped of Leroy possible getting a body but never did I think that he would look the damn good. You'll have to add small ventilation holes and then tiny window wings(in front of the windows on the front pillar) to keep them from blowing out. That body adds a huge vacuum that pulled out the doors. On the better note, well done!

11:20 - I’ve been here since Leroy went into the wind tunnel. The info that came from that was that Leroy had to make 300 hp just to overcome the wind drag. He’s got to go faster.
That 300hp at slow speeds. At 204mph it would take 874hp to maintain that speed without a body. A stock c5 body would take 400hp to maintain 204mph. This body freed up a ton of horsepower on the big end

Remember wind tunnel video? Sure we love naked Leroy and we love turbos sticking up there. But there is no going around aerodynamics. Slick object will go faster with same power applied. It was great to see the excitement of getting the body. So glad that team is enjoying it so much. Awesome driving. I bet Star will make few doors fast and CJ will make door frame and it will be sorted out quick. This is testing. Weak spots need to be worked out. It is normal process. Air can’t catch the leading edge of the door nor it can make over pressure in the body. I am pretty sure it was just air catching the edge. Maybe all it needs is little lip in front of the front edge so that air can’t get in between. I bet, at those speeds, even 1/4” lip would steer air off the leading edge and this I’ll never happen again. Once air goes off the leading edge it will come back and keep the door shut. No issue.

Cool video! Exciting, actually a little terrifying. You guys are probably already thinking about this, but just in case: IMHO, and by no means an expert; If there's enough pressure inside the shell to blow the doors off it may not be working as intended. When traveling through the air, downforce is from, at least in part, lower pressures forming within, and more importantly, underneath the body in motion. The downforce comes from the surrounding air pressure above pushing into that lower pressure zone. This is typical of most any aerodynamic body in motion, on the surface, that adequately inhibits air getting into/underneath the body. The inside of that shell should have less pressure than the outside if it's working well. Those doors should have buckled inward, not off. At least, from my limited understanding. There had to have been a massive influx of air to push those doors off like that. And if you get enough air trapped underneath you could lose the entire shell. It will take off like a wing. If attached to the car it might actually lift. Less drag helped out a lot, obviously, but the other potential aspects could be outright dangerous. Maybe consider getting some additional aerodynamic experts to take a look at things. Lower drag in exchange for a car that might unexpectedly launch into the air doesn't seem like a safe trade, IMHO.

You'll have to add small ventilation holes and then tiny window wings(in front of the windows on the front pillar) to keep them from blowing out. That body adds a huge vacuum that pulled out the doors. On the better note, well done!

11:20 - I’ve been here since Leroy went into the wind tunnel. The info that came from that was that Leroy had to make 300 hp just to overcome the wind drag. He’s got to go faster.
I think the thought behind that is, they can overcome that with the laptop, but yes I agree on the same tune it should be faster
And being he was doing the same times vs people with bodies, I think there may be a rematch with a green car.
I thought it was more like 575 hp.
That 300hp at slow speeds. At 204mph it would take 874hp to maintain that speed without a body. A stock c5 body would take 400hp to maintain 204mph. This body freed up a ton of horsepower on the big end

Remember wind tunnel video? Sure we love naked Leroy and we love turbos sticking up there. But there is no going around aerodynamics. Slick object will go faster with same power applied. It was great to see the excitement of getting the body. So glad that team is enjoying it so much.

Air can’t catch the leading edge of the door nor it can make over pressure in the body. I am pretty sure it was just air catching the edge. Maybe all it needs is little lip in front of the front edge so that air can’t get in between. I bet, at those speeds, even 1/4” lip would steer air off the leading edge and this I’ll never happen again. Once air goes off the leading edge it will come back and keep the door shut. No issue.

Cool video! Exciting, actually a little terrifying. You guys are probably already thinking about this, but just in case: IMHO, and by no means an expert; If there's enough pressure inside the shell to blow the doors off it may not be working as intended. When traveling through the air, downforce is from, at least in part, lower pressures forming within, and more importantly, underneath the body in motion. The downforce comes from the surrounding air pressure above pushing into that lower pressure zone. This is typical of most any aerodynamic body in motion, on the surface, that adequately inhibits air getting into/underneath the body. The inside of that shell should have less pressure than the outside if it's working well. Those doors should have buckled inward, not off. At least, from my limited understanding. There had to have been a massive influx of air to push those doors off like that. And if you get enough air trapped underneath you could lose the entire shell. It will take off like a wing. If attached to the car it might actually lift. Less drag helped out a lot, obviously, but the other potential aspects could be outright dangerous. Maybe consider getting some additional aerodynamic experts to take a look at things. Lower drag in exchange for a car that might unexpectedly launch into the air doesn't seem like a safe trade, IMHO.
