Thank you for the video and part references. Job done 👌 I did witthout removing the wheel. Access was limited but acceptable. I had to put the washer first then the pump. Washer + pump was too hard to fit. Pump color (red or black) is for rear and front. Flow of pump may be different, fitting is fine.
Thanks for the video! I couldn't find the washer pump fuse, but now I know where to seek that fuse. I am afraid my washer pump is dead, too. The rear washer is still working. All windshield wipers are still working.
Ours is actually leaking after the replacement pump was installed, do you think it is likely to be the pump itself or the hose, it felt very brittle and cracky, but upon further inspection it is not obvious at all where the leak is coming from, would you suggest taking it apart, checking if it's the pump, videos I found on yt to explain that, or is it likely just to need regressing and re seating? Thanks
try to grease and re-seat the pump or maybe the grommet is not seating properly..my pump was not working because it was leaking on the pump itselt and it was damaged..
hi friend thanks for this video I have a big problem my Yaris 1000 2007 doesn't start anymore it seems like there's no power getting to the petrol pump do you have any suggestions to help me? 🙏🏻
If the wipers work there isn't a separate fuse so usually just the pump which is behind the mudguard. On full lock managed to get at the pumps without removing wheel by unfastening mudguard.Just noticed that on my old 2003 Yaris version there is one for the front and one for the rear next to each other. Took about 15 mins to fit and £10 for a pump.😁
Hey, first off, excellent video thanks, really straight forward. I have a couple of questions. 1)does the rear washer pump have a separate fuse? 2)I'm a newbie :) I have a multimeter and a phase tester screwdriver, I'm not 100% how to test the power as you are doing? Stupid question but... Both the rear and front pumps are identical right? Thanks again!
@@jlsetnuper You only show one fuse, and I can only find one for washer? I have front working, but rear working? Tuble is clear, able to blow through to reservoir ?
My car is 11 years old and only parts I replaced is the spark plugs ..the first part to stop working is the air / fuel ratio sensor and 2nd is the front washer pump..thanks for viewing
@@jlsetnuper hi , I’ve recently bought a Yaris 08 and the front washer has stopped working , the rear is working just fine tho , I can also hear the pump when I pull the leaver for screen wash but nothing comes out , would you be so kind in giving me any advice / ideas what this could be ? Hey, we have the same problem here, did you solve it?
@@Rullstolsboken No, it was not the fuse, but the pump. The car repair shop fixed it for me.

What if the rear is working and the front isn't - then must it not be the front pump only? And not the fuse?
thanks for watching...rear wiper has a separate fuse..
@@jlsetnuper aha okay! But my car is an older model (2004) and I found online it has the same fuse.

Both pumps are identical and if the wipers work the pump should too as there's no separate fuse for the pumps on my old crate at least.
Is it possible to do without taking the wheel off?
yes you can..but for better access, you need to remove the wheel
you seem to know the car very well! Did you found any parts that is breaking easily or need replacement often?
