I think some models of Focus you can just push the rear brake piston back in like normal, but some need to be wound back. If the piston has two indents in it, as in this video, you will need to wind it back in. I did my wife's focus today and the piston would not budge even with quite a bit of pressure using a g clamp. I then discarded the g clamp and used a pair of long nosed pliers to turn back the piston. You must do this in a clockwise direction, same on both sides. While I was turning the piston clockwise I used quite a bit of manual force to push the piston back. Easy Job without the fancy wind back tool which I did not have.

not knowing what the number values mean doesnt help me. I guess instructions come with the reader?

Now how do you test the camshaft sensor without hundreds of dollars of equipment? I believe you can use a multimeter and look for the average voltage value of the square wave waveform. I wonder if you can turn the engine over by hand and try to detect peak value and minimum value of waveform? Like you were doing with the socket on the bench test.

Thank you for the video and part references. Job done 👌 I did witthout removing the wheel. Access was limited but acceptable. I had to put the washer first then the pump. Washer + pump was too hard to fit. Pump color (red or black) is for rear and front. Flow of pump may be different, fitting is fine.

Why do you need yo use a test light for trigger line? Can you use a straight wire from positive to trigger post?

Why 4.6 L ? That's for petrol engines. Yours is a diesel. So its further down on the paper that you've shown. It should be 4.4 L . 4.6 that you were looking at , is for petrol engines.

I just finished this job thanks to this video. I think I made a mistake though. I put the 2 strut nuts and bolts that attach to the knuckle the opposite way compared to the direction shown in this video. I'm I okay leaving it? Or should I fix it?

the large pipe is the filler the medium pipe is to let air out the tank as you fill, the smaller is the tank vapour vent ,done a few of these , the vent pipe needs to be saved as the e bay replacements are just the main 2 ,top vid btw👌

If the wipers work there isn't a separate fuse so usually just the pump which is behind the mudguard. On full lock managed to get at the pumps without removing wheel by unfastening mudguard.Just noticed that on my old 2003 Yaris version there is one for the front and one for the rear next to each other. Took about 15 mins to fit and £10 for a pump.😁
