They are a specialist in water chemistry and part of a global conglomerate operating 21 production facilities across the world. The Australian division is a market leader with a small team determined to progress women in the organisational ladder and specifically in male dominated positions - and they have had some very successful outcomes!
SNF Australia has increased female representation from 24% to nearly 30% of their workforce in the last 10 years. By appointing females into traditionally male dominated roles, they are hoping to demonstrate that females can pursue careers and advancement in the manufacturing sector.
They believe that having more women in male-dominated positions will serve as role models and mentors for other women, and will encourage them to pursue careers in those fields and providing support and guidance along the way.
