This recall only effects the Ridgelines that were already on dealer lots when the recall was announced. I just bought a new Ridgeline right off the truck last week that already had the recall taken care of at the factory. There were 6 new models however on the lot with stop sales on them. I watched two other customers also purchase Ridgelines while I was making the deal on mine, so they are still selling at least here in central PA. Sticker on my Trailsport was $46k and some change got it for $2500 under MSRP and with Honda finance 1.9% 36mo deal. I'm pleased in today's market with that deal. Oh yeah, the dealer did try to add a $995 wax job and $250 splash guards which were easily removed during negotiations.

I'd buy this over any midsize truck out there and it'll also last 300k miles with minimal repairs when doing the scheduled maintenance. If you're not rock crawling, this truck will handle mild two tracks and be more than most truck owners need for family doings.
The stop sale order is done. They are selling these with a waiver - if the camera works it gets sold. Personally I find it's a non-issue. I'm waiting until the camera quits working before one of these lube jockeys disassembles the whole rear bumper and tailgate of my truck and breaks all the clips.

It will out most everything on the road in adverse weather; Rain, slush, snow, hail, mud. Has a roomy, spacious cab/interior, a comfortable ride, will pull a family sized boat, a two horse trailer/with horses, a camper. Rarely breaks down, 22 mpg City, 26 Highway, has outstanding resale/trade-in value, nothing like it. 5 of them in my family, driving with a big grin on their faces. btw; we have all owned/driven large pickups “TRUCKS” in the past as well as other mid sized pickups “TRUCKS..”
@@ChesterSm-ge1hb Well said! Must be still driving his dad's 83 rusted out pickup truck. It most certainly is a TRUCK. A TRUCK THAT HAS A SPECIFIC PURPOSE! Time to come into the 21st century aclock, even if you can't afford a new TRUCK!!
@@587G I traded in a 2015 GMC Sierra 4X4 pickup “TRUCK,” fairly close to the 21st century by my math, you will never achieve my lifestyle, eat your heart out.
I consider it a truck. A few things I’d like to see improved are more ground clearance, better audio, best seats on sport model, deeper bed, hybrid power train option that got 30+mpg.
It’s silly
Honda Ridgeline = fancy El Camino.
I love the EL Camino
= Your opinion. El Caminos didn't have AWD
@@milfordcivic6755 What else would it be besides my opinion?
Make more mavericks
That’s a great little pickup. I’ve owned 4 of them haha
@@revnation_auto can I borrow one lol
