All the previous episodes i was like damn that's peak romance but this episode that hug is everything and more , Yamada is officially the best girl of the season
Actually it's increased in ratings and been on top as #1 on Anime Corner's list for this anime season in these last few weeks, so not as much underrated.
I remember the day this episode was released.. I watched it first and get diabetes and then after that I watched Heavenly Delusion and cried. And then watched Yamada-kun to cheer up only to cry again on the episode of Hell's Paradise after that 😂😭
Oh damn........ I am SO excited to see ya'll watch every episode. This one was the start of a killer "I care" arc. All of the rest of the episodes out right now after this are HYPE!!!! I'm proud of Kyo and Anna. Anna is the most darling girl.
The dream that Ichikawa saw about giant Yamada and tiny Yamada was actually a symbolism. It represents that Ichikawa is afraid of both hurting her (tiny Yamada) and getting hurt by her (large Yamada). It shows his low self-esteem.
It got leaked that we'll be getting a season 2. We should have official confirmation after the season finale airs on Saturday. I'm so excited. Season 2 is going to be even better than season 1. PEAK
About Ichikawa, if you realize he doesn't try to have a loving relationship with her (all this time there have been more coincidences and situations in which he either wanted to help her or just wanted her company), his negative mentality prevents him from thinking on that and if Yamada likes him. On the other hand, Yamada is looking for a relationship with him, which is why she is more proactive. And for that reason it feels like she's more in love, because she's not as afraid as letting herself be carried away by her emotions

Bro that diagram touching dialogue between you guys was absolutely hilarious. I totally took into account what she said the "no touch" zones but not the free to touch ones. Had me laughing pretty good. Chii is a great friend and I love that she's looking out for our clueless ass Yamada lol. Her being the first friend to hangout with Ichikawa was apt.
i am going to sound so out of pocket but the more i watch the show and read the manga the more i see it so i have to get it out of my chest... why does ichikawa have such big thighs?? like man looks w i d e. its like... his waist is tiny but his hips are not like im just so baffled. am i complaining? NO. am i in shock? YES. like, he rocks it so i can't say anything but i always notice it... im sorry
Never expected to like this series going in, the initial premise of Ichikawa wanting to be a killer made me think this was going in an entire different direction. Glad it turned out he was just a little bit of temporary cringe, like we all had around that age in one form or another. I'm wondering, thinking back, if there were any clear and obvious signs that someone liked me that I just completely missed. I'm really trying to think if it's possible to be as oblivious as Ichikawa's being about Yamada. Also - new opening graphics? Unless I'm losing my mind? Probably late to the party as usual, but they look really good.
