Silly? How absurd! She is actually most properly expressing the emotions conveyed in the very verses she is singing, no different than any who would state the same in a conversation or even in thought, I dare say!
As opposed to Luciano Pavarotti, whose facial expressions absolutely never show any emotion in anything he sings, through it all to have the same bland face!
