Then, is sometimes a mirracle, we can hear zum beispiel (deutch, sry, my english... 8D) now from Cecilia has own history full of people who have "open heart" and can throw back inner dreams for good of ONE person to manage it on safety highway to concert podium... All of them has been part of this impression
She has rescued Baroque opera from the tiny, vibratoless, emotionless style that emerged in the first revival of the period, mostly from the English singing tradition. No white voiced birdy here; only a true human being making a statement about her/his condition and an orchestra painting the mise-en-scene for that statement. Brava Bartoli
The greatest living interpreter of Baroque music. She captures the vocal essence, the needed bravura, the over-the-top costuming and decorations of the music that Baroque composers saw as ordinary but that barely exists any longer on the current opera scene.
I agree. This is really her genre. Vocally and personality wise, she has such joy in her art form and it just speaks through everything she does.

Dont mind the faces - when you are producing such sounds and in such rapid succession and with accuracy and agility, who cares. She is astonishing to watch and hear and turns the performance into a workout - why not. My guess is that Broschi would have loved her she gives it so much (compare Vivica Genaux) There is nobody today who could hold a candle to her. Power, looks, fantastic personality and the legendary five lungs to boot!
To me, the faces she makes make her performance even more amazing!!

Para que ir a ver una tediosa representación de Moliere si puedo ver desde mi casa un episodio de alguna telenovela?
Para que buscarme 20 músicos que toquen con instrumentos y criterios de época, ademas de requerir a G. Antonini con estudios de años en el repertorio, y encima tener que buscar una mezzo con esa coloratura y que además sea experta en Vivaldi.... si es mas fácil encontrar algún tipo que con el sintetizador y otro con una guitarra me acompañen a cantar Pop después de un año en alguna academia de canto.
Por que la vulgaridad y todo lo que evite que el cerebro trabaje es lp q más vende.......es más.fácil repetir: dame más gasolina !!!! Q escuchar con calma una hermosa opera, buscar su significado etc ...la.cultura en la actualidad no vende
