I'm 13 years old and I stay so sad when I think that the 70's/80's never go back... Everything was better, the music, the culture, and the people too. Sometimes I cry watching videos of Sweet and other bands that I love. I will never go for a concert by The Beatles, Ramones, Queen, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pink Floyd... and this make me really sad. I was born at the wrong time!

Старанно. Незачем омрачаться. В свое время парни за 10 лет включили свои произведения в историю музыки, благодаря таланту, мелодии и текстам. И через 50 лет это актуально, ведь это же славно и необходимо !

THIS SONG IS one of the best songs with a hook that grabs you deep down inside. I did not think too muchy about it till I walked into the Providence Civic Center when Sweet was in the middle of this song and they had the whole audience by the tips of their fingers.
Deep Purple followed them and could not match them. That was huge. Because Deep Purple can make most bands sound like there music is coming through a transister radio.
I'm a big Purple fan and Sweet showed them the way at this partiicular show. Sweet rocked the arena this night.

1978, junior in high school. I asked a friend to take me to the mall. Bought this album, went back to school, put in on the turntable in the gym, and cranked it. She thought I was nuts. "Nobody gets into music like you do!!" Damn right.

What a perfectly crafted song... combining 70's Glam, slammin' guitar riffs, soaring vocals, anthemic production, melodic hooks and atmospheric keyboards... this craftiness was the perfect transitional segue for alternative New Wave in the late 80's and early 80's (e.g. The Cars)!

I had a small transister radio y I was in the wooden outhouse when I first heard this song. It was the type of song to stay in your head. I was never into lyrics, just the music. Good music. Enjoyable y motivating. Still think Andy Scott is the band's most intriguing member, y now soul survivor. God bless you Andy.

I lived those days also. I enjoyed all the bands you named and many more. I think living through that era has made me appreciate all the great music that came along with it even more today. Wouldn't trade those days for anything in the world.

What is tremendous in this song is that you find the strength of glam rock, the beginning of prog rock, prefacing the disco craze. That's the way artists should be : aware of what's changing and what must remains the same. I'm definetely fond of Sweet.
