I started a whipped body butter business couple months ago and really want to start making infused oils for skin and hair. Your video helped a lot thank you 🙌🏽❤️
It's a lot easier to get the rose petals in the bottle if you do that before you put the oil in. You can also either use a syringe to get the oil inside containers or you can buy these little tiny funnels that I have and they're not expensive, you could probably get late 20 of them for like 3 bucks or something, I hope this helps. Thank you so much for sharing this really helped me. 💖🧡💛💚💙💜
Great information , I love the reminder about water not mixing with oil. It's so important for ppl to know the "why's". A lot of youtubers just get on here saying anything, you've obviously done your home work. Good job 👏
Great video! just be mindful that most flowers have pesticides on them so maybe rinse the petals in lemon juice and a baking soda mixture first. Just bcs this is going to be used on ur skin.😊 and boiling dosen't always get rid of pesticides.
Thanks for the information, for now I have store bought flowers will rinsing the petals in lemon and baking soda mixture be good enough or going on and making the oil with the rinsed flowers may harm my skin?
💕I made this wonderful pure Rose Oil. Didn't have the dried petals for decoration but the oil is clear and very Moisturizing. I love this oil. Thank you💞
I’ve watching this video at least 5x in the last two hours, ITS AMAZING ❤️, I see that there are many questions about the dried roses , can you make a video using dried petals instead of the fresh one please. I’m a visual learner.
The measurements for this recipe is not an exact science. Make sure you have enough oil to fill the jar to the top. Add about 10-15 drops of essential oil and about a tsp of Vitamin E. If that helps.
I made some today used olive w sunflower oil and the result it has the pink/red in the bottom and oil base quarter of the small spray bottle. Idk if thats the right result but it smells really good im letting it sit so it can be used tomorrow
Hi Leelee, thanks so much for this great video, I love it. We have so many organic roses at home and I wanna try this recipe. Can you please tell us the measurements? Thanks so much. 👏👏🙌🙌

Thank you for the information,i was so eager to try this out so I went and bought flowers. It is now that am learning that the flowers should be pesticide free. Is rinsing the flowers in lemon and baking powder mixture a sure bet or the oil I make may harm my skin.?

Nice oil. How do you stop body oil going cloudy? I can see yours looks a bit cloudy already.. But i think is The Almond oil? Retailed botanical body oil are not cloudy. They are super clear. How? I looked at their ingredients it’s 100% natural but use different oils, like apricot or Kukui or Coconut oils etc May be its the essential. I noticed they use vitamin E oil, could that be it? I have made botanical body oil using above oils. i use dry flower buds. At beginning oil looks fresh & clear but after a day or 2 it starts to go cloudy like a dirty fish tank. Looks off & not attractive to sell. I use clear glass bottles. Any advise would be great. Thank you? Pasha
Also the fragrance is it is it originally potent Without adding anything else for fragrance..? I want it as pure as possible..? Thanks love this video..?
I know this is besides the point but I just LOVE your accent, it's so soothing 🤗 . This is such an awesome tutorial, you've got me looking forward to making my own herbal oil 😆!
Hello! What Is the difference between almond oil and a vegetal oil? I use 100% almond oil and organic dried rosebuds. I only use organic EVO for my cooking, not for body products because the smell Is strong, but would that be harmful for skin?
Love this video, i just found you, you explain things so well and i love how you visually show what you're doing. i just wanted to ask, is this an essential oil, or is infused oil different? thanks :)
Hello, when using the dried rose petals, after you finished having the jar sit in the hot water. Can you reuse the petal in the jar and transfer them into the dropper bottle or should you use new dried petals instead? And would it be the same if you didn't use hot boiling water?
Hello :-) I love the video. Some roses have no perfume : did you use the petals from perfumed roses (like rosa gallica) or will any roses do the same job?
Thank you so much for your tutorials. Quick question. I see its been a year since you first posted this at the time I am seeing it. Have you tested to ensure it can last for over 9 months using dried petals? Mine turned brown and I am looking for a better way to preserve them for a long time. Thank you
If the petals are dried, they should not turn the oil brown. They need to be dried in the oven, but just long enough that they get crispy. Then place in a jar of oil of your choice, and, leave in a dark place for about a month. Then drain petals off and oil is ready!
Hi I'm so happy to have found this video. Where do I get almond oil,is that found in he supermarket, and any recommendations to where to get the grape seed oil?
Hello! Happy I just came across your video and have subscribed to your channel. Can you please share the measurements of each oil. Thanks in advance and Blessings!
Thank you for this great post.👐🏽 However you didn't mention the measurements for the oils. It looked like 1/2 cup almond oil and 1 cup grapeseed oil. Is there this correct please? 🤩
Humm. This gives me ideas to add to the business. I never thought of this. Is this good for doing massages? That's kinda where I want to go business wise
How much would you sell them for? I'm wondering because I'm going to be making almost the same thing and don't have any idea how much I should sell them for? I make and sell lip gloss and people said that $5 and $6 was too cheap which one I added it up I was barely making anything doing it this cheap because I had vitamin C and hyaluronic acid in my lip glosses which are $20 for a small bottle like you're putting that oil in and I've had people tell me that I should sell them for at least $10 a piece, can you and anyone else reading this please give me some advice. Thank you so much for your time.

Just a tip the best roses for the best smell are English roses freshly cut from your garden. Store bought red roses have little to no aroma.
My volume was all the way down and when I finally decided to turn it up, she had to say "Sexual Desires"
😂😂😂
Sorry!
those mason jars can be bought from winco grocery stores for $10.00 for 12 jars. each jar costing $.83 cents.
Super cheap 🤔

Good point for store bought roses and flowers. Mine, however, are sourced from a company that doesn’t use pesticides and are non-irradiated 😊

What is the shelf life of this? With the rose petals it seems as you would have to add a preservative.
You could always put the dried rose petals in first.

Amazon online, and other online retailers. You most likely wont find cold pressed, unrefined almond oil in the supermarket.
Beautiful! Question When you say use dried rose petals do you mean at the end in the bottle or use dried to infuse the oil as well? Thanks!

I wouldn’t recommend, just use dry petals and you don’t need to use a preservative.
And thank you!

Can we use a preservative so the flowers won’t mold inside the bottle or will that not help?

are fresh rose petals more effective than dried? great video & your skin is amazing
Thanks love ❤️ and yes they are and they make the oil smell better.
Leelee Isaac thank you x
How long can the rose live inside the oil bottle and still look good ? And what the expiration time ?
If the infusion was done with dried petals, the oil will last up to 1 year or more.
If the infusion was done with fresh rose petals, as in this video, it will probably last a month.
Fresh rose petals include moisture, and as you know oil and water don’t mix and the oil is bound to go bad.
The recommendation is to only use dried flowers to infuse. And then dried flowers again to embellish the oil.

Thanks for watching. Yes you can!
how much of each ingredient are you doing for your rose oil?
