    It's a lot easier to get the rose petals in the bottle if you do that before you put the oil in. You can also either use a syringe to get the oil inside containers or you can buy these little tiny funnels that I have and they're not expensive, you could probably get late 20 of them for like 3 bucks or something, I hope this helps. Thank you so much for sharing this really helped me. 💖🧡💛💚💙💜

    Just a tip the best roses for the best smell are English roses freshly cut from your garden. Store bought red roses have little to no aroma.

    Great video! just be mindful that most flowers have pesticides on them so maybe rinse the petals in lemon juice and a baking soda mixture first. Just bcs this is going to be used on ur skin.😊 and boiling dosen't always get rid of pesticides.

      The measurements for this recipe is not an exact science. Make sure you have enough oil to fill the jar to the top. Add about 10-15 drops of essential oil and about a tsp of Vitamin E. If that helps.

    Nice oil.
    How do you stop body oil going cloudy?
    I can see yours looks a bit cloudy already.. But i think is The Almond oil?
    Retailed botanical body oil are not cloudy. They are super clear. How?
    I looked at their ingredients it’s 100% natural but use different oils, like apricot or Kukui or Coconut oils etc May be its the essential. I noticed they use vitamin E oil, could that be it?
    I have made botanical body oil using above oils. i use dry flower buds.
    At beginning oil looks fresh & clear but after a day or 2 it starts to go cloudy like a dirty fish tank. Looks off & not attractive to sell. I use clear glass bottles.
    Any advise would be great.
    Thank you?
    Pasha

    • @mezzad5474
      @mezzad5474 11 місяців тому

      If the petals are dried, they should not turn the oil brown. They need to be dried in the oven, but just long enough that they get crispy. Then place in a jar of oil of your choice, and, leave in a dark place for about a month. Then drain petals off and oil is ready!

    How long can the rose live inside the oil bottle and still look good ? And what the expiration time ?

    • @BebeLeelee
      @BebeLeelee  4 роки тому +10

      If the infusion was done with dried petals, the oil will last up to 1 year or more.
      If the infusion was done with fresh rose petals, as in this video, it will probably last a month.
      Fresh rose petals include moisture, and as you know oil and water don’t mix and the oil is bound to go bad.
      The recommendation is to only use dried flowers to infuse. And then dried flowers again to embellish the oil.

    Hi Leelee. I might have missed it but how do you measure the ingredients i saw you put a few drops of Vitamin E? And also as a facial skin regiment how do you propose one uses it for glow or treatment? In place of a moisturizer?

      Hello, I would recommend for this oil to be used after using a toner. For example, cleanse, toner, serum/oil, and moisturizer.

      I suggest oils like sunflower seed oil and the ones I used. But mineral oil is a big no ❌

    I want to make this diy oil with dried rose petals so that it will last longer, but should I skip the step with the fresh petals? Can you please explain.

      If you use dried rose petals, you can skip the fresh rose petals step. Follow the same process but simply replace fresh with dried.

      @@BebeLeelee hello, I'm not understanding either, are you saying to boil with the dried rose instead of the fresh rose or skip the boiling step altogether? (If you want to keep the oil longer)
