Hey friends! Thanks so much for watching... Be sure to leave me a comment letting me know which card was your favorite! :) Supply list: ldli.co/e/k9nrn0 Full blog post: bit.ly/2wBsFST
Definitely the third one. I always think stopping sooner is best but it's so difficult when you're having so much fun. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent and inspiring me.xx
3 really great cards Simon! I love the creativity and willingness to experiment and play that you showed in making all three. Especially the last one...It was fun watching you 'lose control' 🙃 with the alcohol inks. I worried it would be for nothing, then you turned in into such a beautiful background. My favorite for sure!!!
What a great idea to add the foil to the damp surface! I liked that you die cut it into a circle leaving some of the foil areas. But my favorite card was the first one with fish. That one really turned out great after you continued adding and brushing it to look more like water!
They are all awesome but that last card is the best - at first I thought oh this is gonna be a hot mess - it cracked me up watching you go Simon on it - brilliant move with the foil - the final result was such a pleasant surprise - so vibrant and beautiful - perfect for your Space Training stamp set! I always enjoy watching your videos Simon. I learn new techniques and relax at the same time. And I love your positive energy and passion for crafting! You are a Dude gem!
I liked all of them. Each one is unique in it's own way with the different cardstocks. The pearlessence on the the black was interesting. I like the silver background one. That looks like fun. I do tend to over work my ink sometimes. You're not alone in that respect. It looked really cool when you cut the circle.
Thank you and always love how artistic and creative you are. You are a magnificent teacher. Loved all the alcohol paint world does. Very inviting and FUN!! Thanks, Karidad
The first card is my favourite. I think we ALL have the problem of not being able to stop playing. Btw Ranger now has an Alcohol Ink Tool Set that includes #2 & 8 rounds, #6 flat & a mini mister. The brushes look like their other brushes, however, they have a lot more snap to them & are a different colour.
I have been intrigued by alcohol inks and their vibrant colors but unsure how to use them but you make it seem so easy! I will try your techniques later today so thank you for sharing!
My favorite is the 3rd card with the space background! I love foil with alcohol inks and I also can't stop (won't stop) messing with my backgrounds too 😄. I'm also intrigued by the glitter cardstock! TFS ❤
I too am an alcoholic. With ink that is! I love a 3, it's hard to choose just 1. I've been playing with those inks for over 20 years now, and still, am amazed at how the beautiful the colors turn out. Thanks for a great video on the papers!
I already love to play with alcohol inks on yupo paper but these new ialcohol inks and the special papers from rangers makes IT even more exiting .The third card with the gold foil is nu favorite.
Love theway you were throwing that ink on the paper, and you were having so much fun i know! They are beautiful and thanks for sharing them. Love those alcohol inks,
My most favorite one was the last space one as well as that sparkly one too,i enjoyed this video too much, do more videos with these alcohol inks as well as pearls ,they are so fun to watch and play with too,and i have that problem too of not knowing when to stop...
I am SO guilty of alcohol ink overkill. It's nice to know I'm not alone when it comes to lack of self control in this department. 😅 That card ended up being my favorite too.
Wow! Very cool 😉 I was laughing because I too, have no self control when doing alcohol inks. It becomes addictive!!!. Lol I loved the last card with the bits of foil that you made into a planet. I didn’t know that you could add foil to the buildup. I always learn something new on your channel. Thanks for sharing! And “Happy Crafting” Gigi
I like the under water one the best. I needed to hear the suggestion about using more colors than just blues & greens...Now for my big questions!! I’ve been stamping for many years & often have a hard time coming out of my “comfort zone”. You are very inspiring & make it look fun & easy to try new things...I just don’t know where to start sometimes. How do you decide what colors to use? Do you create the background first then choose colors to enhance it on your stamped images? Do you ever use patterned paper? A video on how you get your ideas from & how to go from idea to product. Sorry for my novel like comment! You are proof that you can indeed teach an old dog new tricks!!! 😂
Alcohol inks are so much fun! Love the backgrounds and the cards....I am super crazy about foiling on inked backgrounds and yours turned out fantastic!
Love love love only once I had experience using inks with my card making friend but I might try in more once I got my craft room set up after the house move
Those are all incredible! I am floored by that black cardstock!!!! I have to get some!! And those pearls. I think my favorite tho is the last one. It reminds me of when you squint your eyes and look at the colored lights on your Christmas tree :) hmm, that’s an idea!!!! Thanks for being such an inspiration! You’re an awesome artist! I laughed when you said you had no self control (pop-up 😁) because with AIs, that seems to be the problem we all have... but they just keep getting cooler the more you add!
on the first card. I love the bg and fish.. I think it would look cute to use the outer space helmet as a deep sea diver just cut off that antenna and have one of your guys head in it and coming up from the bottom.. just maybe head and helmet or shoulder area. I love the ideas you gave. I have alcohol inks and papers and just don't use them.. but you've inspired me to get the out and play.. I love the last card .. I really liked all of them but the colors and foiling really makes it awesome.
Rubbing alcohol is a much cheaper cleanser. Blending solution is so costly so I reserve it for its intended purpose & clean my brushes & surfaces with RA. Love the pearls & glitter paper. I have yet to try the black as it’s not available yet in Canada.
Hi Simon! I really enjoyed this video, I had a few ideas/questions as it went along: Card 1) silver sparkle cardstock I thought it might be interesting to make the fish on acetate or vellum, to get the effect of some of those beautiful translucent fish; Card 2) matte black card The pattern made as you laid down the pearl inks suggested flowers to me - I wondered if a resist emboss type technique would work here - eg clear emboss some flower outlines and then drop the inks in the middle to keep the shape? Card 3) brushed silver card Do alcohol inks reactivate like oxides? Ie if you apply blending solution after it’s dry, will the ink move again so you can create layers? Thanks for the vid 😀 oh, and my fave card was no 3
Thanks for sharing, how much ink do you have in your water pen? That planet you made with the foil was amazing! I've only recently found you and your work is great, fun and doable. Thank you!
I love the last one because of the foil that you use yes I did thank you. Do you have much narrow cards stoked already with envelope like the other one thanks for video O and the small inked head û
I didn't see a link for the foil you used. Can you tell us what type you used? and where you get it? I liked all the cards but I have to say, the last card was my absolute fav and sparked so many ideas for me. I MUST have the foil lol
what type of inks are you using in your water (??) brushes you are colouring with? I have been watching your subscriber count creep up with the new product line and #creativescrapbooker shout out. Keep being awesome.

Very fun to watch the blending of your alcohol inks. The round planet is so cute! Love it!
Definitely the third one. I always think stopping sooner is best but it's so difficult when you're having so much fun. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent and inspiring me.xx

Alcohol inks are toys. You just want to keep playing with them! Thanks for highlighting new surfaces! Love the pearls on black!
Fun and easy cards! Thank you!
The last card with foiling was AWESOME! Yeah, I'm the same with these inks...I never know when to stop!
Beautiful, as always. Never disappointed --- thanks.

What a fun video! I really loved the last card with the foil. Just beautiful!
Yay! We loved seeing these in use. They are gorgeous! 😍
What a great idea to add the foil to the damp surface! I liked that you die cut it into a circle leaving some of the foil areas. But my favorite card was the first one with fish. That one really turned out great after you continued adding and brushing it to look more like water!

Hah, no way to choose just one! All three were gorgeous! Thanks for sharing, Simon!
Love them all but the moon with the rocket was my favorite thanks for sharing
Yep, hard to stop with the alcohol inks!# So much fun! Thank you! I liked the 1st card best! The underwater one!!
I liked all of them. Each one is unique in it's own way with the different cardstocks. The pearlessence on the the black was interesting. I like the silver background one. That looks like fun. I do tend to over work my ink sometimes. You're not alone in that respect. It looked really cool when you cut the circle.

The third card was my fave. I love the idea of adding the foil. That was awesome!! Got to get my alcohol inks out again soon!
Really good Simon, I like them all. The last one looked like tye dye. Awesome channel.

Thanks Simon. I have the glitter silver paper but haven't played with it yet. Love how the planet turned out!
My favorite was the under the sea. Never thought it would look like water as you were working on it.
Beautiful alcohol ink backgrounds! Thanks for sharing ❤💕
I LOVE alcohol ink backgrounds...my favorite one is the rocket ship card. TYFS 💙
I have been intrigued by alcohol inks and their vibrant colors but unsure how to use them but you make it seem so easy! I will try your techniques later today so thank you for sharing!

Addicted to alcohol inks as well!! And I definitely can't leave it alone!!

I love the second card that has the dogs on it. Thanks for the video. You continue to amaze me.
Love them. You made me want to pull out my alcohol inks!
Wow, loving this. Need this in my collection. 😀

I was cracking up at your written self control comments on the last card. I love how that one came out too.
I love your videos...those alcohol ink are just divine...:)
Alcohol inks are so much fun! Love the backgrounds and the cards....I am super crazy about foiling on inked backgrounds and yours turned out fantastic!
Loved them all but the spaceship one was my favorite. Perfect to make a planet from. :)
Hi! I love the black matte paper, but I really wish the black had a yupo surface... you could do some amazing things. My fav was the water card.
Love love love only once I had experience using inks with my card making friend but I might try in more once I got my craft room set up after the house move
I DO have to the same problem of never knowing when to quit! I think your effort paid off. I LOVED the last card. Turned out beautiful. Thanks!

I thought you had overdone the last one but adding the foil saved the day
Hi Inklipse, just found your channel and subscribed
Cool background!
Thanks for sharing, how much ink do you have in your water pen? That planet you made with the foil was amazing! I've only recently found you and your work is great, fun and doable. Thank you!

Love these! If i did this it would look like a blob
Be cool if you can stamp on that and color with copics or real brush pens and the sparkle comes through. Maybe try that and let us know.
I didn't see a link for the foil you used. Can you tell us what type you used? and where you get it? I liked all the cards but I have to say, the last card was my absolute fav and sparked so many ideas for me. I MUST have the foil lol
Simon I was laughing out loud at your no self-control comment, I think all of us run into that from time to time. Great video and fun backgrounds!
*He's got such lovely hair.*
Love the last card the most! I know nothing about foiling, what foil did you use on that last card?
No self-control! 😂😂🤣. I totally understand 😉
Simon do you plan on going to college while running your stamp business?
Can those inks be used in an airbrush?
what type of inks are you using in your water (??) brushes you are colouring with? I have been watching your subscriber count creep up with the new product line and #creativescrapbooker shout out. Keep being awesome.
What do you use to coat your pieces?
I love thaïs vidéo
I don't know when to stop putting the alcohol ink on either. I can end up with a "pool" on my paper. Lol
❤️❤️❤️
