If you don't take your iPad out much I would recommend something like the Elevation Labs draft table which is very sturdy and provides great drawing angles on a table, but is a bit too heavy for portable use. Thank you very much for the comment!! Especially for the 12.9 inch iPad the compass can be a bit unruly. Unfortunately there isn't a perfect solution out there that is portable and sturdy you kind of have to pick one side of that coin. The elevation labs draft table is a great sturdy solution for at home or the office but it is very heavy. The more mobile option I use for the 12.9 inch iPad is logitechs hinge case (they have them for most generations of iPads). The hinge gives you lots of angles but with the keyboard it's hard to use it on your lap. I do use the Logitech at home quite a bit just because it's already on my iPad and convenient but it is not going to be as sturdy as the drafting table. Other than that I've covered a few options in other videos if those don't seem to be the right fit. I hope that helps feel free to ask anything!

Also as much as I’d love to use the iPad without a case, the smart thing would be to get a case haha… I considered the apple smart folio but I won’t lie, I am worried if I drop it as it doesn’t have any protection around the edges (knowing myself I’ll probably drop it sooner or later) I tried to look for the Logitech hinge but can’t seem to find it for the latest (5th generation), also I don’t see a keyboard on it, maybe I’m looking at the wrong one

No problem at all! As far as taking the iPad pro out a case would definitely add some protection and make it more usable but they do tend to tip the scale on weight and size. The iPad starts to feel like a proper laptop rather than a tablet. Logitechs case is called the combo touch and it's available for the 5th gen iPad pros as well as other models. If you have an older 12.9 I'm sure they made a case for it you just might have to look on eBay or Amazon! The smart covers are also nice though as they protect the screen and give you a good drawing angle without adding much bulk or weight. It's hard to say I'm still trying to find ways to use the 12.9 myself haha And I'm glad if I could help I'll be making more videos on the iPad and how to draw and all that so I hope you look forward to it!

I'm really excited to get my hands on the mini 6, the mini 5 has been one of my favorite drawing tools since its release but it did feel a bit out dated with lightning and the 1st gen apple pencil. Glad we can stop looking at the rumors too haha. Ill also be getting the GPD win max 2021 soon and it should make for a great pair to the mini 6! I do have a busy schedule coming up but ill do my best to make a video or do some live streams of the mini asap!

It is usable from my experience, when vertical the mini is taller than the compass but when horizontal the compass is a bit taller. It depends on your use case but for drawing with the mini, I prefer apples cover case that doubles as a stand! I hope that helps if you have any other questions please feel free to reach out.
