Thank you, Thomas for an excellent video, I am very interested in the Formentor VZ5, of course depending also on the price. I have a question for you: when I have tested the Audi RSQ3 Sportback, I have noticed a clear lag at kick-down when in low rpm. This was also mentioned in public test drives, for example as mentioned by Matt Watson, who said it is due in fact to a lack of reaction of the DSG gearbox. When I testdrove the Formentor VZ 2.0TSI 310 PS, there was no such lag. What can you say about the Formentor VZ5 in this respect, does it have a lag at kick-down in low rpms? Thank you!
@@autogefuehl Thank you Thomas for the answer and the link. I have driven a lot of cars with DSG/S-Tronic and to me and also to a friend of mine the lag seemed the most awkward and irritating with the 2.5 TFSI....And the most irritating scenario is where for example, you are slowing down into a corner, downshifting, and then getting back on the throttle - the kick on the throttle is met by a significant delay until the turbo has boost again and the car takes off. Are there maybe any walkarounds? It is such a pity because otherwise, the 2.5 TFSI is such a glorious engine, but since the Formentor VZ 2.0TSI 310PS is not showing such lag, I might consider the lower engine for this specific reason only.....
