Very nice car with upgraded quality from the previous one. I saw the car at an exhibition up close inside and out, very impressive with quality materials, especially in the VZ special edition it reminds me a lot of Audi.
01:09 the three individual daytime running lights (facelift), a touch of Porsche daytime running lights. Otherwise, I find the prefacelift headlights more elegant, an open triangle is formed and it tapers straight inwards. Great.
As mid size crossover's go the pre-facelift Formentor was already best looking in class , this face-lift is very striking , the lights are great. Being the VZ it's fast to.....I think I like it. Well done Cupra......PS: Martin's driving on this mountain road is Ballsy I must say.
The Drift Mode is pretty cool if you know how and where to use it. I was curious about it in a Golf R Performance but with an specialist from Cupra we got it to work and it was phenomenal!
I had a Chiped VZ with 370 Horsepower and changed it for the VZ5 Taiga Grey it only has 20 Horsepower more but it feels like 1 Second Faster to 100 it is like Day and night Also thanka to the torque splitter.
They must have a good reason, like a contract ending with the factory that has been making those for 20 cents But anyway, I do not see any point of this, it does not save any weight and it just blocks space for mechanics

Roumor has it that Cupra couldn’t sell the 7000 pieces of the 5 cylinder. Could be possible that they make a facelift version of it, what I, as a VZ5 owner, would highly dislike cause the VZ5 is a quite rare and therefore special car.
I own pre lift Leon ST310 and i'm really starting to question myself if i should change it for lift. Current one design suits me better, and this light up badge in lift really makes me wanna womit but man... Extra 20HP, better diff on rear axle and a lot of changes to QOL things like light up controls for volume, new infotainment or better sound system are speaking to me :)
Also don't but Formentor xD Buy Leon :) These cars in terms of quality and mechanics are same, but Leon have more space inside and sits lower to the ground what makes it better at feeling the car while on curved roads :) Also The price is drastically different XDD
They made the lower grill bigger but covered it with huge bits of plastic... What was the point if the proportions of the earlier one looked much better? The only thing that looks better is them ditching the round fog lights as those are pretty ugly on the pre facelift.
Pre Facelift has the Better looking Headlights. While the Pre Facelift has the better overall Looking Front. What i dont like about these New VAG Cars, is the Disgusting Boring Rear Light Bar that looks so Boring and Overdramatic than it actually is. Car would look so much better without it trust me. Do it by your own. Take a Picture of the Rear and Put it on Paint. Paint over the Light Bar and you have an Aggressive Rear look.
The only good part about this compared to the pre facelift is the illuminated rear badge, illuminated climate control, and maybe the speakers, and the infotainment. It's good they kept the steering wheel buttons. Front looks worse, wheels look worse, lights look worse. Visually, it was perfect before. I was thinking of upgrading once my term is up, but the looks alone is a turn off for me.

I own the 24' cliff grey (green) formentor (pre-lift) which has matte black rims and matte black everything else with the Akrapovic exhaust from factory. By far the meanest vz spec and beats this shark nose. Inside has Alcantara as part of the special tribe editon run with a sunroof. Once the warranty is done ill chiptune it to 370bhp. Way nicer in my opinion...

I'm a stone believer of the emblem going on the grill, not the hood. Anyway, lose the POV/perspective view. Its disorienting, and becomes quite annoying after just a few minutes. That's why nobody uses it anymore. I had to stop the video before halfway because it was giving me vertigo.

Why in a wannabe-fastest-plastic-toy? What is the purpose of this car? Neither it's a true sport car nor utility vehicle. Fake car and fake, unreal emotions. I would rather go to racetrack and get the real feeling and on a road like that just jump behind cabrio's wheel, play Queen and feel the wind enjoying every minute of my life.

Have the 22, and it's awesome, it's the hybrid, 245hp, and like the front more than the newest version, to be honest. I don't switch for now!
