Just wanted to say that you are my favourite VanLife channel and you've planted a seed in my brain which I am watching grow ... The idea of converting a van myself. Learning from you guys, the first thing I'm doing is a TON of research to see if this is right for me, and how much I have ahead of me before I begin. Just wanted to say thank you, and keep up the good work!

You guys have such a badass build. Watching this is making me want to do another build! We love ours but would totally do counter and sink like that round 2. Also we totally have C & A mugs exactly like that 5:53 E mug ;)

Thank you Kurt! We LOVE having the ability to move our bed from that "fixed" position and create an entire "hallway" space. Really opens up the place when we're stuck inside on a rainy day!

Very, very nice. Not only did you guys seem to include the necessities, but you also added some niceties. The craftsmanship looks to be top notch and aesthetically nice as well. A lot of times people seem to forget basics and/or cut little corners, both of which I assume would start to drive you crazy after living in it for a while. But not you two. A comfortable place to relax and sleep, more than adequate lighting and power, a cool little kitchen area with running water. The layout left more room than I thought it would. What else do you really need? Each other and adventures. Good luck, I hope all goes well for you. Peace.

Inspiration for us to continue an adventurous lifestyle. We've traveled to 35 countries and by seeing how you take on the challenges has given us the courage to do things that we have not felt comfortable doing. The bottom line we are getting out of the comfort zone. What advice would you give us? You're doing it and thank you for what you're doing it is appreciated all.Jerry & Lori

I really love the build but I would also love a "review" of it after a month of use.
Perhaps a "formal" tour of the Finished Van showing off all the features in a couple of minutes.
Followed by a reflection of what you like/dislike of this van, what you would do different, what your plans are for additional features, did some thing break or needed to be fixed etc.
Really hope to see more video's of this van in the near future, have fun!

I'm getting excited thinking about this next project. I was thinking of building a micro home but perhaps starting with a van conversion would be better. I don't have much skill in carpentry but really want to dig in. I sure could use some help...single over 55 woman here...I am determined though...I have 6 months to get it together. I'm not confident about putting in the solar 12v...time to watch more you tube! Your van is beautiful! Classy! Love it!

Even used it to make our doggies home made food. Little guy lived to be 20 yrs old between his healthy home made food and Dynovite vitamins. Great job on the van. Way to go to live frugally! Happy healthy trails to you!

excellent build very nice job the vinyl floor didn't work for me when I tried it 15 years ago in a class c didn't last a year before worn through had to replace mabey you will have better luck the is not that much Sq footage so only a few dollars more to get wood or wood laminate if you screw it up you can sand down and refinish in 1 hour once every couple years love the tile you did such a good job you should have done the counter also bravo

Great plan thanks for sharing. You guys are a delightful couple. A couple comments for what it's worth. May want to build a sealed box for propane tank with vent hole in the floor for safety. I learned it on UA-cam. Secondly your couch mode looks uncomfortable since you can't lean back without hitting the overhead cabinet. Not sure how to easily fix this though. But great job thanks again.

Nice!....wait were you guys wearing the same stuff for the whole build!?....only kidding. Love the bed/ couch, the water tank system and where you put the batteries!

Everything looks great. Nice build, professionally done... The only thing is the batteries may give off a toxic gas. I suppose that they are sealed. Hopefully that is 100% true.

Hey guys, I love your videos. I was wondering if you'll went with the 144 or 170 length Sprinter? It'd be great to hear why you guys chose the one you did and if you had to do it again, which van (and what size) you would choose. Maybe you already did that video and I missed it? Anyways, you guys have me hooked watching your videos and dreaming about van life. Thanks!

Hi Alex! We have the 144 wheelbase because we spend a lot of time in cities with our tea company and wanted to easily park etc in crammed places (like Toronto)

Love this! It’s great comparing how you all felt your way through building your first van to how you just built your latest van. Reminds me of how out of my depth I felt having just built mine. 😂👌

I like the alternative home look of your van, very different. It seemed like you wasted a lot of room with the wood if you were to re do it, would you use more metal to cut back on space? Also, though metal is much more dense do you think it would be lighter since you would use less?

I'm totally interested in doing something like this as I am going through rough patch in life and would love to have something like this, however I do wonder about how you're going to take showers and use the toilet since there is no space in the van for that function. If you can answer that that would be cool. Thanks for the video❤️

Hi love, we bought the screen off Amazon, took off the side gusset and wedged the screen into the gusset. Then glued the gusset back on.
