In the early 20th century Henry Martyn Leland wrote in his journal: “One day I will produce a vehicle with the longest production line in history, stretching across the globe; bodies built in Italy, carried back to America by plane. It will be a moon rocket aimed at my feet.” Not really, but that's what the Allanté was anyway.
