I have added the Kevin Hart Episode of comedians in cars here: ua-cam.com/video/t6IVxg3DgQY/v-deo.html
this is the most boring show ever.
You took a person who probably had the finest coffee in Austria to IHOP, that's the best joke of this episode.
Generally coffee isn't great in Austria in my experience. Italy has maybe the best coffee in the world, and France too, but Austria's lagging.
@@hallquiche Australian here. Had coffee in Austria and was sorely disappointed, compared to the cafe/coffee culture here.
@@jrbuch That’s my experience too
Austrian here: You can get awesome coffee here in Austria, you just have to know the right places….same as everywhere except Italy of course 😅
In Vienna you cannot miss with apfelstrudel und wiener schnitzel. Also all sweets are very good comparable with the best from France and Italy. Also he have Slavic part (Slovanian and Croatian) that is good mix.
"The great thing about this is how they can make it look so different from what it tastes" Dying
Ford got the idea right seven years later with the Mustang!
"Eat what you want, we'll fix it later" Should be the slogan of every pharmaceutical company in the U.S.
im laughing so much at this i have the hiccups!
The face value and amount isn't bad as the chemicals the government allows put into it.
All owned by jewish state jerry seinfield is part of the problem (he is jewish)
We have a pill for that.
Of all the cars on this show, I’ve never seen one so fit a guest.
Watching Mr. Waltz living in America is like watching a panther trapped in an enclosure that is part of a run down zoo.
Well done!
Yes…😅
@thezenboy BRILLIANT.
@thezenboy Any chance that's a reference to the poem Der Panther by Rilke?
@@dstille Well done, @dstille. Sadly, the people watching Christoph at the ihop are not like the patrons at the Jardin des Plantes, in Paris, but a poem by a melancholy Austrian seemed fitting.
“Only at times, the curtain of the pupils
lifts, quietly--. An image enters in,
rushes down through the tensed, arrested muscles,
plunges into the heart and is gone.”
One of the premier actors of all time. Waltz delivers lines with such authenticity and perfection that it is easy to lose yourself and forget he's just acting. Can't wait for his next film.
Let's hope QT gives him a role in his new film
@@jackhackett80 If he's truly only going to make one more film, I'm sure he'll find a role for him.
@@shepshape2585
Please say it’s not true!!
@@amystuckey5900 What? That Quentin is only going to make one more film? He's said for years that he's only going to make ten movies. He's made 9, so the next one should be his last one. Although I'm not sure I believe it. The guy has movies in his veins. I can't imagine he'll hang it up at such a young age. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
He stole the oscar for Django from Sammy
Great episode. I'd love to see Christoph give Jerry (and us) a tour of Vienna.
Me too. But that can only happen if Christoph will forgive Jerry for taking him to Ihop.
He says things with such serenity and straight face you have to wonder if he is being serious or not. His Hans Landa character was so terrifying because he was so authentic on an entirely new level. I left the theater believing, THAT must have been what it was like to be in front of a real SS officer in 1939. A totally complete psychopath. You could hear a pin drop from the back row in a packed house during the entire opening scene of Inglorious Bastards. I have never felt anything like it before, or since.
I love that man. ...Well, as much as one man who doesn't know the other personally can.
In Austria, that is funny. Ya?
Oh what i‘d give to be able to see Inglorious Basterds in theatres when it came out
This show of Jerry's seems to have been around for at least a decade... but I've not seen one episode until just now. This was superb. It was rich! w/ sarcasm and the smooth, Austrian humor of one rather unique Austrian, Mr. Christof/ph Wal/t/z. And the BMW 507! for which I would have been utterly satisfied had it been the only personality within. But you and Jerry have given us so much more. I am utterly delighted. Vielen Dank.
"You're hiding Kramer in the trunk of your car aren't you?" - Hans Landa
I've been to a Vienna coffee shop and fully understand the guest
Christofs wit and sense of humour is at such a high level, it was tickling Gerry with this
the length of this episode is geniusly compact and allows us to escape the IHOPelessness
Chris is an outstanding actor. So charming and comical. Jerry speaks for himself.
Having lived most my life in Torrance, I can heartily agree on the hopelessness. 🤣
The way he delivered I was about to ask…. What I ever did to you? lol 😂 11:20
Now here's the joke: Taking a man from Vienna to an American coffee shop...😂
Christoph to Jerry after being dropped off: "Lose my number"
don't worry austrian are the same cretins when it comes to coffee... So it fits all the same...
America has good coffee shops. Heck Torrance has good coffee shops, Jerry didn't need to take him to iHOP 🙄
@@ChaosKingable I don't doubt that there are better coffee shops than IHOP. The thing is, Vienna is the city where the Turkish invaders 1529 were defeated and left formerly unknown coffee beans back. Vienna considers itself the cradle of coffee culture with an vast variety of preparations and the coffeehouses were hotspots of arts and science up till at least WW II. The imperial times might be gone, the attitude is still there. And not to mention the pastries. It's a whole world out there...
Yes but you won`t get a good espresso in Vienna. Better try a melange.@@Xaver-dh8nh
I'm happy to see this car driven rather sitting in a museum, but it would terrify me to drive such a priceless vehicle.
It reminds me a bit of my 93 Miata, though I'd trade it for this beaut in a millisecond.
it's not priceless
@@BullRadu what is its value, what are they going for these days? 200+ were made, I wonder how many are around now. 215,000 Miata NAs were produced. I bought mine for $5000 with a supercharger and 80,000 miles on it. How many Miatas would I need to trade for one of those beautiful BMWs?
@@Yowzoe it's just an old car, nothing more. They could have made only one and still wouldn't have been priceless. The only way a car is priceless is if its emissions are curring cancer instead of poluting
@@Yowzoe One sold in 2022 for about $2.3M. 'Priceless' is obviously just an expression and not meant to be taken literally. Some people just need to be pedantic hard-asses. It's **nearly impossible** to buy one since there are so few of them, and the people that have them are not anxious to sell them.
How could you not enjoy, this show? Both are very interesting, funny, and real! God is Good!
Doing this in Europe will be great. London, Paris, Vienna and local humour with a guide like Waltz.
I simply cannot remember ever laughing so much and so heavily while viewing a comedy show. Brilliant!
Laugh out loud funny. Great episode
He lives there cause he make movies. Why would anybody want to live there if your not in the entertainment industry? Christoph is truly a gem.
Loved this episode of "Comedians in Pedalos Getting Cigars"
"Elegant" is the word i was thinking of from the beginning. I love that "IB" movie, and mostly it was because of Herr Waltz's performance amid the rest, and the elegance and humor of his transitions between French and German and English, all so dexterous and convincing. Who could fail to be impressed?
Poor Christoph, going to IHOP. Vienna is the most elegant and delicious city in Europe.
It could have been Dennys, agggg
Also quite boring, sorry to say.
Part of what makes the choice of IHOP so deliciously funny.
When Jerry did the “ah ah, le butter..” I cracked up!
I can totally see why these two became real life friends after this
Christoph is so excited. I’ll bet having a conversation with him is wonderful.
The punchline when they pulled into IHOP PRICELESS!
Punchline or placement?!? 😮
01:30 a quick but notable interjection here. Albrecht von Götz is the man responsible for the design of the Nissan 240 Z. Remember him fondly every time a Z passes by you.
I think they were originally called a DATSUN 240Z. Beautiful sports car. He has quite the touch for iconic designs. Thanks for sharing this info.
Such a classy car for such classic actor as Christoph.
This is the brilliance of Christopher Waltz. Even in the car with Jerry his voice and command of language is surreal.
youi should ABSOLUTELY go to Vienna and other cities and do just this, as you say......PERFECT!!!!!!
That was one of the shortest episodes but one of the most exquisite.
I had never heard of this car and yet it is one of the most elegant I have seen.
Elvis Presley had one of these babies,so sweet.I am always amazed at other drivers tailgating a masterpeice like this one the highway! Thanks for this episode,Christof is an amazing actor
Now THAT is a secret agent car.
Am I the only one that thinks this entire interaction between Seinfeld and Walz is just way off somehow?
Probably
Their energies don’t match but they’re good actors
I found it mannered, dry, w/ a bit of depth. no heavy yuks & laughing out loud... but humorous. a change of pace befitting a Viennese guest.
Yeah it's like Christoph didn't want to be entertaining at all.
Seinfeld is very dry and not especially funny.
beautiful - one of the very best episodes. Perfect car and Waltz is wonderful.
Wow! What a car, and what a guest. Brilliant, hilarious.
Love that you posted this! I was getting tired with old episodes. As you say this is new love it!
He's simultaneously delightful and terrifying.
''He's simultaneously delightful and terrifying.''
The ability to go from boring, wooden acting to an overacting smile can be classified as terrifying.
That's Jerry for ya
But we barely saw the guy in the car! So we can’t know for sure.
@@Tedanson No. That is Christoph Waltz.
This is classic comedy, he takes him to ihop in torrance..just dripping with sarcasm 😂
I love this guy...such an incredible actor, powerful
I really enjoyed the subtle tension and humor of the morning offerings...a veritable Vienna waltz...charming :)
That car is amazing, such fantastic era for design. I loved the quick review at the top!
Great episode and I'm a huge fan of Christoph. Keep them coming!
The 507 is a hidden gem… similar aesthetic to the MG A… gorgeous especially in that cream white.
Not a very well known car, but I just saw one for sale in Germany for $2.2 Million. There is definitely a market for them.
@@hallquiche it's rare, it's a sports car, it's old, and it's a BMW. Impossible for it to not have a very expensive market.
One of your best! Cheers .☕️☕️
Christoph Waltz was amazing in Basterds and Django. For that he is a legend in my book
Check out "Georgetown."
Two of my favourite guys. I love Christoph’s humor. 😂
Awesome ride, Mr Seinfeld. I am insanely jealous. Thanks for sharing it.
Saw the 507 cabrio in the BMW Museum in Munich ... I thought somebody must have either misplaced or BMW was doing a clever "the italians can this, but..." story out of it.
And then I fell in love with it.
I now want to see every Christoph Waltz film. Loved this.
"There is aspect of hopelessness involved". 😊
Love Christoph Waltz...
So great to hear this was new!
That is such a nice car! Christopher Waltz always looks so shy and nervous!
I spent a day in Vienna about two years ago and definitely plan on never returning. Love the BMW !
I'm sure they'll make this a holiday after that news.
Better to go in the warmer months.
Must have been pretty dramatic to pooh pooh an entire country in one day
Vienna is not a country so…@@lorettanericcio-bohlman567
He was superb in Django! 😂
What an interview! A lot of fun
10:41 Best sentence of the show. Great sense of humour. Christoph is excellent - from a European perspective. The other good part of this show is to see how small cars were some decades ago compared to nowadays.
I have seen a few 507's and had no idea of the limited production,.. they where known to easily overheat,... but its just an absolute masterpiece ! cant imagine owning this and a Mercedes Gullwing from the same year... two of my favorite vehicles ever built. oh and the two personalities also in this Video. aint bad either
Hes not just cultured in the movies but even way more in real life!! Hes right about Austria being such a beautiful place and scenery compared to LA and the smog and endless traffic and fast living.
Hilarious! I love these 2 guys, and what a car. What a great looking car. I've never seen one before.
That was great. He's a treasure. So is Jerry.
How absolutely gorgeous is that BMW!! Wow
Christoph has a great sense of humor.
My favorite actor and my favorite comedian.
Thank you. I sometimes forget how much I miss Crackle.
CERTAINLY one of the greatest episodes ever of this fine series! Exquisite!
How
Fantastic actor as its very rare I am glued to a scene that you forget its a movie for a period. Christoph Waltz as Hans Landa was amazing. Oscar well deserved
I’ve always thought Jerry should a version of this show with just ordinary people who like cars…
Yeah.... I'm not doing that...
From what I’ve heard about him, I think he would think it’s beneath him.
Beneath him or above him, I think that would be boring as I see ordinary people every single day of my life. Give me some of these actors and I laugh with them.
lol why? They would have nothing interesting to add
@@JohnnyGification they would add something since even actors have sometimes the same anecdotes
Wish Jerry would do a dozen more new Cars & Coffee. It’s such a joy to watch!
To me Christoph Waltz's performance was outstanding, along with Melanie Laurent.😅
And, a great show Jerry!!!
I think this was the best CICGC episode yet. Brilliant! Anything less, would be uncivilized.
When I was in the service I got to visit Vienna and he is absolutely right. Vienna is so Beautiful and the history and culture is beyond anything anywhere else. You would think the people would be snobby but it was not the case. If I lived anywhere it would be Austria (or Switzerland)
But what about Torrance?? 🤔
Nice going Jerry! Sweet ride!
Undoubtedly the finest Actor of our time and finest of all time. A true master craftsman of his art.
Jerry is the perfect height. Makes shorter people seem taller, and doesn't look too short around taller people. Pauses over delete, ah what the hell.
Noted
Weird how Christoph's legs are longer but he's shorter
@@almighty1984 Yeah. I notice these things, as I've gone from 6ft down to 5'10" due to many leg surgeries in the '80s. That was fun.
I don’t know why but something in comedy works about a short guy, a average sized guy and a tall guy together - George, Jerry & Kramer. 3 Amigos is another example.
It was difficult to watch poor Kristoff have to enter an IHOP. It'd be like taking him to Denny's or some other "nothing here is fresh but the insults" kind of joint, lol.
„I don’t know why you’re living here…“ 8:12 😂
How they make it look so different from what it tastes… was thinking the same of the character of these two jesters.
I've got the spiritual successor of the 507, a 98 my roadster. That 507 is one of the most beautiful cars of all time
Up there with the E-Type
Christoph previously thought IHOP was a cheap shoe store
LMAO!
until he left there, overly full on pancakes, crepes, and waffles
He says things with such serenity and straight face you have to wonder if he is being serious or not. His Hans Landa character was so terrifying because he was so authentic on an entirely new level. I left the theater believing, THAT must have been what it was like to be in front of a real SS officer in 1939. A totally complete psychopath. You could hear a pin drop from the back row in a packed house during the entire opening scene of Inglorious Bastards. I have never felt anything like it before, or since.
@BillyReed68 I would have to agree that he balances brilliance and sincerity with sociopathic and evil very well. It's interesting that he turned down all previous Nazi character roles and only took Inglorious Basterds because the Hans Landa character was genius and really spoke to him. Ironically, that is the role that really put him on the map. Christoph's subtle mannerisms and gestures are suited perfectly for an evil genius, especially one cast by Tarantino.
Once upon a time I had four bmws, all white. One left, original owner of a 1985 e30. Currently 440,000 miles.
I grew up wanting a BMW and by the time I finally got one in2016 they had forgotten how to make a car that could last without trouble beyond a lease. It was so disappointing. Still hoping to get a 2002 for weekends.
I would FLIP if I saw Christoph in person! 😍
What a looker. Such a beautiful car
Should have ordered a strudel at Ihop (do they sell that there??)...ah! And don't forget.... la creme!!😜😜 (the actual strudel scene flashes by as I'm typing this 🤣🤣🤣🤣).....
Overall, Hans Lan...er, I mean mr. Cristoph Waltz rules!! 😁😁🫡
Beautiful car! Never would have guessed that it was a BMW
That was awesome.
I lost it when he pulled into IHOP.
IHOP coffee is essentially pre-piss.
Thats Cristoph Waltz, a great actor with a brain!
The 507 and the Z8 ---- the two most beautiful roadsters in the world. Both wearing the spinning propeller logo, of course.
Been by that iHop literally thousands of times. Never been inside.....
Says every BMW owner. Corvette C2, Mercedes SL300 roadster 1958, Mercedes 190SL 1970, Ferrari 250 GT SWB California ...
@@realitykicksin8755
Wise words.
I see a lot of the Cobra Roadster in the Z8 design.
It’s not a propeller.
@@maestroadam Yes, it is a propeller and the blue sky as backgroung, that der Logo of BMW
I hear they have good shoes at great prices!
My favourite actor, really funny episode
Excellent line from Christoph.
Nice! I like how you're telling us more about this vehicle. You guys need to do more of this sort of stuff with your cars like all the time. It's kind of confusing you know.
I would love to see the bloopers. Pure funny
My all-time dream car.
