@@toontrack Some people complain when they right click (or Ctrl+R) on a drum part to do a "search for instrument" only kicks and cymbals are available, for snares and toms the Jazz Sessions are grayed out, no access to the library
Hi Martin! This is a bug and it has been fixed in an update to the SDX. Check your Product Manager! It's a very small download and shouldn't take very long to install.
This is an incredible addition to the Toontrack family. I'm getting it for sure! Now, I'm looking forward to a SDX dedicated to Latin Drums and another one about the Fusion era. Well Done!!!
I need this!!! I wish I could afford all these VST instruments/plugins. They're amazing these days....It's affordable considering what you can do with it I guess.
Yyyessssssss i was hoping for something more jazzy. We have enough rock and metal stuff. Next i'm hoping for something that goes against the generic/traditional mic placement techniques. Something edgy / innovative
James, what a wonderful surprise to see you here. It reminds me the wonderful time our band SIXUN spent to record our album ‘ Lunatic taxi’ in this fantastic studio 30 years ago. We were very impressed by the quality of your work, your kindness and your professionalism. I do not know if you will remember this French jazz fusion band who did fly to New York to record with you but anyway this is a great opportunity to wish you the best in your life and for all the great recordings still to come. I can’t believe how good this sounds, the detail is immense
True, i was about to comment the same thing
Thank you!
It's Farber... as good as it gets...
best jazz library for drums ever in my opinion
@@christopherpederson1021 I concur
Amazing. Each library gets better and better. Really appreciate having more Jazz options in SD !
absolutely stunning this is definitely going to be part of my expansion packs! James really sounds like a master of his craft.
🤤 I don’t usually drool watching UA-cam, but when I do, it’s a Toontrack video. This sounds fantastic!
Wow, thanks!
James & everyone involved, great work. 🫵🙏
Yes, James and team truly did an amazing job on this!

A bit off: SD3 was released in 2017, I haven't read any news about SD4 yet, I hope we don't have to wait too long for it.
Make the Amen Break drums and all the other Jungle DNB styled drums.
Hello, I have a suggestion. Will be awesom if was possible to ad *.vst plugins into the mix tab. Who agree?

So after 50 years, he just now realized that you can add a second microphone to the kick drum to give it more punch?
😂 your comment is so funny it shows that you really don’t know who this guy is and why he is so respected.
