SURPRISING DAD WITH HIS CHILDHOOD TRACTOR

- 40 years ago, Dad's childhood John Deere 630 seized in a field and was sold. After a few years, Dan, the new owner, got the tractor running so we surprised Dad with it. I am not crying, you are.

Can't put into words how cool it is that your family can do this type of stuff together. Being successful in something in one thing, being successful in something with your closest family members takes it to entirely new level.
That's a lot of words for someone who says they can't put into words
We need more people like Daddy Cornstar in the world.
Amen
Ong
Yes!
He is the type of person that everyone should inspire to be like, very humble a great personality and just an all around good person.
We need a fundraiser to bring this tractor back home!. Rebuild it with the grand kids and tell stories.
Cole?!! Do I spot a wedding ring🥰 a heart warming story! Love watching you guys! I so appreciate all of your hard work! 🙏🏻🇺🇸God bless!!
Just noticed that myself
I was going to mention something... Like, did I see what I *THOUGHT* I saw?? Congrats?? ❤
I saw that too!!!! Sneaky little devils! I think they snuck one in on all of us!! Can’t imagine why you’d wear a wedding ring for any other reason. Either way if true very happy for them!! ❤
I saw it too!
Yup, they are. I thought it was just people trolling them but they are indeed married. Naive and her family posted their wedding pics on their social media. I am so happy for them but kinda wish they had just told us instead of us finding out by people saying things that seem to be like trolling comments (which is what I thought was happening), but I saw for myself the wedding pics. For sure, 100% wedded bliss. I'm very happy for these two, and look forward to all the shenanigans they get up to together.
It’s funny how a smell, place, item can bring back so much joy and memories. It’s so amazing you and your dad get to re-live so many good experiences.
Congratulations to you and Neva on your wedding, I hope you have many years of happiness.
When did that happen? I thought I was up to date on the Cornstar family.
I did see that silicone band on his left ring finger.
I saw the band on his finger at the end of the video too! So are we going to get an update on that Cole? ❤
Someone in a previous comment saw both of them there and they both had rings on. She changed her last name to his on Facebook and the person also said she is pregnant.
Wedding pix on her facebook
Congrats Cole and Hneiva!!!
CONGRATULATIONS COLE AND NEVA. WISH YOU A LIFETIME FULL OF HAPPINESS !!!!!
Nice to see Summer .. miss her vlogs
Congratulations on the marriage. May God bless you both and give you many years of happiness
Ok, seeing the ring, some have seen Nave’s Moms post. Please we love you guys we want to officially congratulate you both!
That’s me in the orange shirt on the far right side of the screen at 2:28. I had great time meeting you guys!! And I loved seeing the part of the video where DC saw the 630 again.
Absolutely cool seeing that 630 going again. I like to see the old stuff running. These are the machines that built America. And that it was Daddy Cornstars tractor he drove as a kid is priceless.
Just keep staying real DC.....You show great strength as a Man, Father, Husband, Mentor we appreciate you!
Your father’s reaction to the tractor was priceless. When my parents retired from farming they had an auction and sold off their equipment, including an IH 400 tractor and grain trucks from the ‘40s and ‘50s. A couple of guys who bought trucks restored them and brought them back to show Mom and Dad. Of course my parents were thrilled to see the restored trucks.
It was so cool to see Daddy Cornstar get to see the tractor and to share, at least what he could, with all of us. There is nothing better than finding something that brings back those kind of memories. Special Thanks to Mr Pelican.
Congratulations to you and Neva . May your life be blessed .
Congratulations to Cole and Naeva for getting Married 🎉
Wait a second!! Did I miss something?!?! I see a ring on Coles finger! Congrats!
You all really know how to make a grown man cry, to see how your dad reacted to it, and talked about all the memories he had of it was amazing. Great video Cole, always amazing watching them and seeing how close you and your family are means so much.
Congratulations Cole to you and Neva
Congratulations!!!! Can we see Nave's ring too please?
Cole, I agree with everyone else. Even if that tractor just sits around doing nothing. Bring it back home and set it in corner of daddy cornstars barn/garage. That’s a legacy piece. I wish I could keep all the things that my grandpa had for my family to enjoy.
I"m not a farmer but I got emotional just watching Cole run his hands over many of the controls & surfaces of the 630. They were built from 1958 to 1960, 17,307, & original 1958 price was $2,955. It sure would be nice to see some pictures of GRATE GRATE grandchildren sitting in that seat SOON. Just keep air in the tires.
I was surprised when they sold that one - I thought it should be parked out front on display or something.
Congratulations Cole and Nave
Cole, I notice the ring on your hand. Congrats to you two
Awesome surprise for daddy cornstar. Did I see a wedding ring on that finger Cole. I must have missed something. Congratulations to you both.
He married cooper yesterday, keep it in the family
@@tigerbatman7881 - 😂😅
@John Lookabill - There’s definitely a ring on his wedding finger! Haven’t heard a word about it either!
I was wondering if someone would say something! I understand if they wanted to keep it private, though. Maybe they'll post about it later.
Maybe he wants to make a video out of it.. views equal money
Your Father's tears weren't the only one shed at seeing that 630 JD. There is something very special about the first tractor.
My Daddy had a JD "H" purchased new in 1947 when he graduated from high school with money he had saved all through his youth. As a child, I got to sit with Daddy on that tractor as he plowed fields. Daddy welded a little seat next to his. Oh those memories - so soft and special. Daddy is gone, the tractor is gone - but to another farm and is still functional.
Thanks for the memories (tears still in my eyes)
Congratulations Nave and Cole!! So happy for both of you ❤
Cole!! You and Naveah got married AND expecting a baby??? Why haven’t you told your UA-cam family??? Congratulations! The two of you are so cute.
Made me shed a few tears about Daddy Cornstars tractor. Good to see y’all!!!! Blessings!!
Not only do you have the memory of your Grandfathers tractor but also how your sons helped keep that memory alive and going. DC, you and Mama CS raised them right. What I mean about right is they know what is truly important. ✌🏻🇺🇸❤️
I see a wedding ring on Cole's finger... CONGRATULATIONS!!
Man, thanks for catching the clip with DC and the 630. Priceless. Cole, good job as the auctioneer! It was a nice surprise to see Summer and Nave! Been a long minute. Nice to see Cooper cutting loose. What a life full of fun and memories. Good ol'country life.
we know this is from 2 months ago.... noticed a ring on ya........... CONGRATE'S TO U & THE WIFE THERE HOPE U GUY'S DO AS WELL AS YOUR FOLKS & JUST AS HAPPY AS THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Am I seeing a wedding band on Cole??? Yay!!!
I am an Ag teacher and FFA Advisor from NE Alabama. I appreciate what you guys did for the FFA. That was cool! BTW, I actually show some of your videos to my students. They always love them!
Congrats & Congrats ... C&H 💕🥂
This has to be one of the best videos you've made especially the 630 part for Daddy Cornstar, thanks again, and God bless you all. 👍🙏
It is so exciting to see you, Cooper and daddy C doing well and being recognized! If you have gotten married a huge Congratulations to you both. Praying for God's deepest and life filled blessings.
Cole DID get married to Hneiva, she posted pics on facebook, im sure that Cole will say something regarding this, and from what is very evident he will be a dad very soon
Wow! Big congratulations!
@@earnierosenow9834 wow! That's wonderful, congratulations! 😳🤗💖
great video all the way around. Nice to see Summer too.
Sitting here crying. I am so touched by what you folks did for Daddy Cornstar. ❤
Cole thats a nice band you got there. Congratulations.
What you did for dad, is so wonderful! Definitely raised good kids, and great parenting. ❤️
That was very sentimental… not many of us get to experience that many generations using one tractor.
Very cool, daddy cornstar deserves it. Hes so selfless and always upbeat, Awesome that you guys were able to do that for him.
What a super cool thing for your dad and the entire family, so happy that someone has that tractor who respects DC. I loved this video,it was almost as good as being there, thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us 🥰
Really enjoyed seeing your Dad's reaction to the tractor. My granddad was from Baudette MN and had several early John Deer tractors pulled out of his fields and restored. He was always amazed that someone would put so much effort into making them look like new.
Having those kiddos following y’all is proof positive that you are achieving your goal…kids admiring hard work and learning is a huge accomplishment! Well Done
Seems like Dad wasn’t only one taken back by the old Deere.
Was that a wedding ring Cole??? Congrats to you both if it was.
Congrats on your marriage! 🎉
Wow! What a cool show! I love the FFA! My daughter was fortunate enough to be able to participate in all 5 years of her FFA Chapter. She even earned her American Degree. It is an amazing leadership program that teaches them so much. Thank you for participating in the auction and helping the kids. It is a worthwhile program.
Congratulations on getting married Cole
Cole, always enjoy the uploads. Stumbled upon your channel a few years ago. I stopped for like 3 weeks and I see you are married? Congrats!
Good to see Summer.
Daddy Cornstar I can tell you are a REALLY good dad. Wish I had a DC in my life when growing up. Now seriously I know how hard it is to move a toolbox. My husband has one of those GIANT ones. We have had to move that a few times... it's lucky we are still alive to talk about it.
It's good to see the old 630 come to life a again. In 1954 my Dad started farming with a 630 and 730. I still love that poping-johnny sound. It's a great 👍 day.
Amazing DC, I am so happy your father gets to live on with that tractor. Such a beautiful machine
Thank you for sharing your hearts for your dad.
My grandpa passed away and I never shed a tear. He was the greatest man I ever knew. I just worked hard at not losing it at the hospital when he died & funeral etc. Afterward Grandma gave me a bunch of his undershirts. Figured I could use them for something. Fast fwd 2 yrs & I'm on an oil rig in the gulf on nightshift. Needed some rags to wipe machinery. Grabbed a tee shirt from my suitcase & headed back to tooling connex. Once there I noticed my wife must have packed grandpa's tees cause I saw his initials on the tag. Because his dementia got bad he scribbled his initials there. I wadded it up with my fist & brought it to my cheek. I smelled my Grandpa. I shut myself inside that connex at 2 am and cried until daylight. Like I said, he was the greatest.
Cole - why don't you do the right thing and bring that tractor home. Anyone watching this can see the emotion your father felt at seeing it. Bring it back where it really belongs. It is a JD and has a long life to go. Bring it home to your dad as a birthday surprise. You are famous, Boy, You had the respect and admiration of a lot of people. You have done a great thing for the US farmer.
Because he sold it
@@dill5500 he can buy it back
I agree
@@maxroy3644 not if the owner isn’t selling it lmao
@robert Shaw - Maybe its not for sale
I really like yall meeting with fans and encouraging young farmers
Awesome Video Today!.... After Last year with DC getting sick it was greet to see all of you there and having a good time . Your fans and followers seemed to really enjoy it as well. Nice to see Hneiva, Cooper, Summer, DC, Scott as well. The folks from Van Wall are wonderful as well. I see you got to hang out with the Laura Farms folks, Grant and his crew too. You really do bring a Real Family oriented content that so many enjoy waiting to each video. You could tell DC was emotional when he saw the 630, and its nice to see where some of those old tractors ended up. Cole as always Thank You as always for bringing us along on your journeys as it truly does put a smile on mine and so many other faces in this crazy time we are living in .... 🙏🌽🌽🙏
So awesome! You are very lucky your dad tells you these stories. I wish I would have had phones to record my pap talk about his days. I found out so much about him after he passed that people thought he told us. (Like he worked in a circus!! How much fun teasing him I could have had!!) Love you guys!!!
That was extremely touching the seen with Daddy Cornstar with his first tractor and one your great grandfather bought new. I can definitely understand the emotions that surfaced. I know it probably wouldn’t be a daily user but surprised you couldn’t find a special use for it on your farm as a heritage piece of equipment.
oh my, is that a wedding band i see on Cole!
My grandfather’s ‘new’ tractor was a 1959 630. The old one was a 1939 model B. After he passed in 1980 I was the only one who knew how to start the 1939. One of my proudest moments.
You and coop need to buy that tractor for dad. Just saying. Enjoy your pops not many have one like that so appreciate it!
I'm so glad DC got this surprise. That was very cool of Dan, and you guys.
Anyone notice Cole wearing a ring on his left hand ?
Sure looks like a wedding ring to me.
I noticed, did I miss a video?
@@dollyhartley4387 I don't think so because I have watched them all.
@@dollyhartley4387 you didn't miss it...they refuse to make a video about because Nave is pregnant and they're trying to hide it.
@iahawk36 Why do you feel the need to troll threads with the same gossip? The reason they limit how much they talk about their personal life, is people like you and the comments you are leaving.
@@iahawk36 trying to hide it? Seriously? Oh good grief, are we back in 7th grade again?? I have a feeling you really have zero personal knowledge about this situation, do you? Let’s don’t make assumptions. People are entitled to privacy, even UA-camrs. I’m sure if there is news to share, eventually it will be shared. Until then, just be nice. It’s not that hard.
Gotta love seeing Spence, Buch, Austin and Grant out there with Cole
Look after your dad. You're all spot on.
Your father is a special man , who raised two wonderful man to follow in your foot steps.❤
Love watching Cole The Cornstar, Laura Farms, etc. My grandparents had an orchard, vines, berries, fresh vegetable operation. Lost to urban sprawl. Gramps had an old walk behind rig, multiple attachments. The brand was long worn off. The engine was a Koehler. It was primarily used for tilling, cultivating, and mowing. It sat unused for over twenty years. For some reason, I got a notion to revive it. We used for about 5 years until it was totally worn out. Keep the Koehler, used it to power a sprayer.
Amazing what you did for Daddy Cornstar. Congrats!🎉
priceless.
I went to an old tractor parade today in Ionia, N Y ,, at a fall festival. Great weather, lots of fun and a good time , bringing back lots of memories.
Heartwarming to see DC and the reunion with the 630
Old iron is the best . I have a 1947 Wfe Intternational M .
Love it. Old iron is bulletproof
Hi col want to greet sommer that it was nice to see her
You are a nice family
Greetings from Sweden
The tractor story is a heart warmer.
Sure do love DC! Quality man right there!!
That tractor is not just a piece of old equipment its a part of your fathers heart. Some day you will regret not having it on your farm. Its hard to see the past when looking through youthful eyes .Bring it to its rightful place.
This 100%
Hopefully, we'll watch it being unloaded at the Mansion!
Future grandchildren will love the stories!
You will regret if you don’t!!!
I hope you bring it back home. I would love to have been able to find my father’s childhood Farmall small tractor before he died to share my Iowa Montezuma area farming heritage with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pictures are just not the same out here in the PNW. 🌲⛰
That was so nice to see. You really are good people.
Great vid and Thanks Dan for allowing all of us to share in the memory.
Loving the content Cole. Hoping to see a lot more.
Cole you need to buy that 630 back off of him
Did I miss something is cole married now congratulations
Great video. Very moving. Hope everyone came away healthy this year 💜
Awesome video, so cool seeing the tractor your dad grew up on running again!!
Love watching your family. Praying for you all. God bless.
Cole, I noticed that you had a ring on your left ring finger. BTW I think you should try to buy the JD630 back for DC and do restoration project.
It's so nice to see how D.C. loved having and sharing his memories.
Congratulations Cole and Hneiva!
Good deal on your Dad's best old 630 there Cole! Just dont change a darn thing on it, well unless a tire goes flat, and only then just add some new air. Hi Nave, your smile is Beautiful as always! -Bob...
I love you guys. Yall are a breath of fresh air.. Stay safe...Glad to see Summer on the video. I know seeing that tractor was very proud moment for the cornstar family.Keep those videos coming..
