I agree with this. I've tried the R.357 Tracking Dart + Headshot tip from the other video and didn't find it effective. Shooting an enemy twice was better. Love your channel though. You're very creative.

It doesn't matter for console cause of the batton animation cancel but for PC players since the quick melee animation cancel still exists I figured out that you can kill a light very quickly by first doing a normal swing into quick melee and then weapon swapping into another quick melee and it kills much faster than two regular swings. It's pretty hard to get all three hits on a moving target but if you need to kill a light that's stealing a cashout it helps a lot. I've also seen people throw explosive mines and then melee it in the air and not get damaged somehow even without the shield. Might be a decent offensive strat if there's some way to block the explosion consistently with your shield but I can't find a way to pull out the shield fast enough since the explosion is pretty instant.
As a level 6 riot shielder I appreciate the effort but that zipline idea kind of does not fly. The enemy will grab onto the zipline and tow themselves away and then trying to match their movements goes back to square one. This isn't to put you off, it's just one observation. Good luck in the game.
Definitely true, I've had that happen myself lol. Typically I'll only do it as a way to move quickly onto an objective. But yea it can be a bit counterintuitive at times
As also a lvl 6 shield user, zip is the best option for chasing. medium as no other movement tech that’s better. Most of the time people have very little time to react to a zip being placed in font of them and you do close distant on enemy’s
Worst enemy is Heavy with either Flamethrower or Sledgehammer Flame definitely fully counter Riot and sledgehammer is harder to block as how big is hitbox that hammer do especially right click Sword can easily blocked if u know where enemy gonna charge you and you do more dmg on Light before u die on clash
Turret plus goo grenade plus riot shield you build your own thunder dome and beat them while they are busy either running from you or busy shooting at your turret goo grenades used to remove their escape options 😂
My fav weapon ❤ btw shield benefits more than the other melees from weapon swap imo because you can cancel a whiffed swing into a block if needed

Riot shield also doesn't activate mines if it's in your hand.
Blocking rpgs at close range is silly fun! Its a great uno reverse card
