Now that nukes have been nerfed a cool thing you can do is setup barricade in stairwells, and put two explosive mines behind it. When someone jumps over the barricade, they get a nice surprise.
Jumping before a heavy attack also conserves momentum and feels cooler than a slide. Heavy attack plus light attack plus quick melee kills a heavy. Heavy attack plus quick melee kills a medium in games (not sure if this is just prevalence of tick damage or the recent patch). The heavy attack deals damage though all destructible terrain (goo, baricades, walls, ceilings, floors, etc).
Hey dude! Love your content. I was just messing around with the 'Zin combo' and realized something super broken. Unsure if you know this or not but for anyone who sees this; so, the 'Zin combo' works because weapon swapping after a melee hit connects straight-up cancels the recovery animation. Meaning even without a melee weapon like hammer, you can just melee again after weapon swapping to quickly blitz people down way faster than intended with the melee. On playstation the input is simply R3(melee)>triangle(weapon swap)>R3>triangle>R3>triangle, etc... With any weapon. On any class. Bonus points for Heavy who can melee while his mesh shield is up. This is definitely going to get patched soon.
By the way, on a rudimentary google search this was discovered at least a month ago when UA-cam user Ryan B uploaded "Weapon swap animation cancel - THE FINALS". I don't know if he was the first to post about it but I've seen this same principal other places as well. Everywhere else I've seen talk about melee animation cancelling they talk about using swapping to a gadget or bringing up the weapon wheel on console and swapping to your primary weapon. It wasn't until this video that I realised console players like me can just press triangle instead of L1+L stick up which makes it so much easier and just as quick as mouse+keyboard

@M4W3L I had heard of the gadget canceling method after the first post I made. It seems it hadn't reached the mainstream audience yet hence why I claimed it as my own, however I do think I was the first to use the triangle/y method. Either way I didn't look up any guides before posting, but the internet's a big place, no such thing as an original idea anymore lol
Same works for ceilings. You just want to time a jump so you have maximum height and thus maximum chance to connect. Really useful for taking over cash outs
Hopefully the second tip gets patched out, simply for the reason is it doesn't work on mouse and keyboard, any tech that can only be used on one input shouldn't exist.

A really skilled player killed me the other day from across the map with a hammer and i didn't even see him, he had over 30 kills
I use only hammer...I've never seen it as a troll weapon, it's just always seemed useful ever since I first layed eyes in it.
