LMAO You're thinking heavy equipment. Most diesel techs don't need more than an inch and a half. Been doing it for 20yrs+. Done in frames, overheads, head gaskets, complete rear end swaps. Never needed anything bigger. Maybe you're delusional
He’s got a long way to go when it comes to tool purchasing. But it’s nice to see that he hasn’t gone way over board on truck credit. I take that shop is mostly diesel pickups. Seems like he would be way under equipped for Class 5 and up.
@ 6 24 -26 the tiny pocket pry bar's as u all call em..... i got to say ppl,. loose em or toss em away me being a recycler here i find a crap load of them all the time esp., when i do small clean out's of apts,. or storage unit's or what not..... by the way u have any cool looking ones u hang onto & or not use cus it's too cool...... i have 2 1 made in early 70's ... & one made in the mid to late 80's.... & some made w/ in the last few yrs,. i use a lot taking apart lil small electronics like radio's & small tv's & etc., here........
I have the wife every day ask me if I am cheating on her. I lost it and said I cant even handle her why would i do for 2 females. She said you spend more time with guys UA-cam. Example why she keeps yelling at me for pron. She tells me that I need to say no to people about fixing cars. Lol so she asked me to fix her car and I told her lol no. That did not go well but love to work on anything and slowly get things that I need. So I watch you guys at work keep on pushing them out. I want to one day start making videos. Do maybe my first as a toolbox tour
Im building my set for when i graduate, im in between two sets of wrenches, affordable (1/4-1in)-(8-22mm) or pay about 100$ extra for a (1/4-1.1/4in)-(6-32mm), any input would be helpfull
I honestly hate working on any trucks besides mine but it's cool to see what people use for different kinds of work. I had a 66" tech series. The higher drawers are too shallow and that dictates how you organize your tools. Very nice box though. Mine was pretty old when I bought it but felt as solid as the brand new krl1033 next to it.
If your ever out in the PA MD area I'd love to show you what a ah mechanics box looks like also a young mechanic with a mix of tools love the videos man thanks
just gana say its pretty sad when i work in small engine repair and even i notice the lack of break away power on the 1/4in like he said so i use a 3/8 90% of the time. its a good start man
When you become a diesel mechanic if you don't get a few Milwaukee tools you'll be shut out of the shop or the truck. Surprised this feller hasn't got anything over 1 1/4, I'm a heavy diesel fitter and for those odd jobs (counterweights, swing ring bolts, plow bolts on larger machines, etc.) You need those big sockets and spanners.
by the way i have bucket's of old old ass tools i or no one ever uses DOES ANY ONE ELSE OUT THERE AS WELL HAVE BUCKET'S & BUCKET'S FULL OF THESE AS WELL...... WHAT U WANTING TO DO W/ EM MAYBE AT SOME POINT ????????????? DO TELL............
I wonder if he really works as a diesel mechanic. Most guys that work diesel are covered in grease from the ankles to shoulders ND Hella dirty cus they always work on the floor ND the trucks have lots of caked on grease oil ND dust
I’ve been doing it for less than 2 years and have more tools than this guy. Don’t buy all snap on and other tool truck shit when you first start. There are a ton of alternative tool companies. Some of them are just as good if not better than the tool truck tools. When you start out you don’t make enough to buy all of the nice shit, hence as to why his box could have a lot more tools. Buy good stuff when you start out and if it breaks upgrade it
@@pablotapia2346 Honestly man I have a complete mix of tools in my box. Snap on, Mac, Matco, husky, kobalt, harbor freight, Milwaukee, tekton etc. After you wrench for a little while you can pick a tool up examine it and give a good guess to whether or not it’s a good tool. The best place to find out if a tool is bad or not is project farm and tool test channel. They do unbiased testing of tools, project farm test a lot more than tools as well, and give you an accurate assessment.
Mac Is junk I have a lot of the mac tools he has. I've broke my needle nose pliers taking out a cotter pin. My ratchet, my 6 inch extension and my universal joint just in normal use. And to top it off there in only one mac truck near me and its where I live. Not where I work
Been a diesel tractor tech for 30 years neat to see the young guns starting out
It's always good to have some sacrificial wrenches get them from the flea market or garage sales they will do u well
Hey hey we Wisconsin folks rock ....love Wisconsin
How about heavy construction equipment mechanic toolbox tour lol
Needs to get the gearwrench long flex head wrenches
Hes on his way to have an epic setup
When I see "diesel mechanic" I excited. Then I see the wrench set that only goes to 1" and get sad that he isnt a real diesel mechanic
Damn
You wanna see full 4” I got a socket set to show ya lol 😂

@Mistakes_Were-Made so you haven't really done a whole lot in over 20 years?
"he does know kind of what he is doing" loooool
Loveing the show here in the uk 🇬🇧. Thanks.
Love diesel bigger and so’s the money
You can lock that 3/8 ratchet so it becomes a regular swivel ratchet. Just bring the mechanism down to the right
Yep, we just hate that the switch is spring loaded to return to the lock position. So as soon as it gets slightly tapped, it locks back closed
The locking flex heads. Pull the lever down and push it to the right and it locks down so you can freely flex the head.
Sean Daehn was looking for this comment before I made it lmao
Milwaukee for the win

Thanks for the video
Awesome tool box tour👀 some beautiful tools and awesome box !!
Love you bro

If your ever out in the PA MD area I'd love to show you what a ah mechanics box looks like also a young mechanic with a mix of tools love the videos man thanks
What about the teng tools 1000 pice tool kits are they any good?
just gana say its pretty sad when i work in small engine repair and even i notice the lack of break away power on the 1/4in like he said so i use a 3/8 90% of the time. its a good start man
I've broken the swivel head on my Snap On flex head 1/2" like 4 times. Matco definitely had a better idea.
old video I know but how is a torque wrench not one of the most used tools?
Nice money maker toolbox!
Starters on big trucks half round wrenches
Tom Mater and air compressors. That I side bolt can be a pia sometimes
Hey man! Good videos what do you use to keep the matte finish clean it's a pain.
I personally use the snap on matte finish cleaner
I guess I'm the only person that likes nutdriver screwdrivers
🤷♂️
I love nut drivers I use them everyday
Honestly starting to believe that I’m the only one who actually likes the snap on flex head ratchet I love mine it’s my go to
I love the flex head, just not the locking flex head
MrAruba62 right there with ya
Same gives me good leverage to break stuff free
Rustbelt Mechanic oh I meant my locking flex head😂😂
Was that a cnc milling machine in the middle of there shop?
Yep! For doing custom turbos Ryan’s Diesel Service
Skip on the expensive box’s and buy a lot more tools.
I was thinking the same thing. I've got a shitty ass box but probably double the tools he has and I've only been doing this for like what 3-4 years.
no shit i got a harbor freight box and filled it with tools i should do an update vid its got lots more tools in it now then when i started

i am in small engine repair and even i have shit up to 1 1/2in
I have up to 2 inch on wrenches
But i am trying to go up to 3 inch
@ 8 41 or so nut driver's YES I ESP., USE EM & BREAK EM & FIND NEWER ONES OR HAVE TO GO BUY NEW ONES IF I NOT FIND ANY FREE OLDER ONES.......
This guy it trolling the new guy.

by the way i have bucket's of old old ass tools i or no one ever uses DOES ANY ONE ELSE OUT THERE AS WELL HAVE BUCKET'S & BUCKET'S FULL OF THESE AS WELL...... WHAT U WANTING TO DO W/ EM MAYBE AT SOME POINT ????????????? DO TELL............
United States Marines retired no show cash guy starting off wish him a lot of luck have a nice day
I wonder if he really works as a diesel mechanic. Most guys that work diesel are covered in grease from the ankles to shoulders ND Hella dirty cus they always work on the floor ND the trucks have lots of caked on grease oil ND dust
I'm diesel tech but needs more tools but he is heavy duty diesel tech
Working on pickups isnt heavy duty diesel
If you’re ever in Houston come tour my 72” US general. Generator diesel technician
Brand junkie. Definitely don’t need Mac aka Stanley screwdrivers 😂
have to agree snap on lock flex head sucks. matco blows it away. horrible design by snap on

Holycrap man, you need some tools man. Well he should've got impact sockets and not chrome

It will forever annoy me how American diesel

Stay tuned for later this week👍🏻
Geez you guys still doing the toolbox tours??😴
