    Clay, a suggestion to prevent your wire stripper handle covers from sliding is an old trick we use to use with motorcycle grips we used to use is pull them off and use some hairspray. The hairspray will allow to side the grips back on, but when it dries it holds the rubber tight, and you can replace them down the road, if ever needed without doing damage to the tool. Just as thought that might help you. Thanks for all the videos & reviews - I appreciate the honestly! To you, your family, team - Stay safe & healthy

    I was in the market for a tool cart so as to save time between jobs in the shop.(auto technician) two days after watching this video my snap-on guy shows up with this same cart. All of my tools are orange, so it couldn't have been better. The cart was "used" less than a month old. Purchased it for $1,500 and I couldn't be happier. Used your layout as a guide line for setti g the cart up. I gotta say it saves me so much time throughout the day, which is very valuable as a mechanic. Time is money. I appreciate your videos, they are no nonsense straight to the point. Keep up the great videos.

    I picked up a ct761 a couple weeks ago. Not a cheap tool. But I love it, I use it pretty much all day everyday. Used one from a coworker a couple times before buying one, highly impressed at what it’s capable on breaking loose, from under the hood, to brakes suspension even some things under a dash. Doesn’t have the most torque in the world but for all around use, works fantastic and I’d recommend it to anyone in the automotive world.

      @@goinhot9133 Just because you take something to a dealer doesn't mean they'll do it right either. I've taken my car in to Mercedes on several occasions (for items under extended warranty) only to have them screw up the entire job so bad, I ended up doing it over myself. You can buy a lot of Snap-on tools at $165.00/hour labor rate.

    You can tell a pro by how his tools are organized in what condition they are in. Granite things happen when they get used but if they’re not dirty and they got crap all over him you can tell that that’s how he does his work. I worked in the industrial side of things back when snap on had an industrial program and Stanley used to come around with Proto so I have mostly Snap-on Proto and some Mac.

    • @KoonTrucking
      @KoonTrucking  5 років тому +1

      I pretty much only use snap on ratchets. We had issues (to say the least) with our old Matco guy not wanting to warranty stuff. I bought the matco ratchet to support Michael and have used it and I have to admit i like it. I still prefer the grip on the snap on but the matco ratchet is nice.

      Mr. Clay thanks for your thoughts on that and your honest opinion. I am the same way all Snap-on ratchets but I bought a Matco for the same reason to support the new dealer in our area and so far ratchet has held up fine. Thanks again for taking the time to make and upload videos, I own a diesel shop as well and the days can be pretty hectic because you know if those trucks ain't running down the road they ain't making money.
