  • Join us this evening for a live hangout where we catch you up on what we're up to. We've left Lamb's Yacht Services after some major boat projects and have been out exploring NE Florida and SE Georgia.
We've also now been semi-retired for about 6 months and thought it a good time to reflect on that and share some of the steps we took to get there.
    See you soon!
    ----------------
We're Cherie & Chris and we've been full time technomads since 2006. We are owned by Kiki (meow).
We have a fleet of nomadic vessels that we split our time between - a 1961 GM 4106 vintage bus, a 1999 Bayliner 4788 motor yacht and a 2020.5 Travato GL van conversion. You'll find RV, van and boat life content here, as we feel inspired to share - sometimes topical, sometimes travelogues, sometimes just hanging out.
We love sharing a slice of our life with others, and also blog at www.technomadia.com, Facebook and Instagram. We use the name 'Technomadia' in all those places. Come join the adventure however you choose!
Income generation is NOT a goal of ours under the 'Technomadia' brand - we do this for fun.
Our full time 'job' is running the Mobile Internet Resource Center, where we track and educate RVers and cruisers on their options for keeping connected. Come join us at www.RVMobileInternet.com for news, guides, reviews and courses. We also have a dedicated UA-cam channel / mobileinternetresource... you can subscribe to. Through member funding, we can give away a lot of free content - and our members get even more.

The longest slowest Great Loop circumnavigation ever, don't rush, if it takes ten or twenty years I will keep watching, LOL. If nothing else I've learned a great deal about the St. John River.

Have followed for years. Enjoyed the Patreon donor community. I am all on for more specific philanthropic endeavors. After meeting up with #thewynns which is a result of your videos, I look forward to more lives. They seem to fit you two perfectly. Keep having FUN!!! It comes through on camera. I am inspired which has led to me getting into local sailboat racing. Give me a shout if you nee d a driveway in OKC.

First time viewer, but loved, and really enjoyed your live show, so please continue making them! I only own a couple smaller boats right now-a 16 ft Sportscraft runabout that I use for fishing, and a Wellcraft tru 23 ft cabin (cuddy?) cruiser that I spend some time on Lake Tahoe, and Lake Havasu! I live in Northern Nevada, so no rivers close by! I’m interested in a bigger boat, like yours, to maybe make some runs up and down the coast of California, from Baja to Vancouver, so any information I can glean about your Bayliner will be viewed enthusiastically! Keep up the good work, and keep ‘em coming! Thank you so much! Regards, Jim F.

Thanks so much for joining us.. and welcome to our little corner of the world. We have many videos on our Bayliner, should be organized in a Playlist on the channel if you want to dive in.

I enjoyed the show and have not watched much youtube lately. I have a 40 ft Forest River 390FL and for the last two years I have been doing like you mentioned. I find a relatively low cost place $450 to $700 with electric per month, keep it there, and get to spend Thursday night till Monday night there. I then go home to work in my market usually 1 to 2-hours away, do my work and laundry, and head back Thursday night. I want to do the loop when I retire in 4-years, and feel doing the loop should take at least 2-years. Last month I was near the Monongahela River south of Pittsburgh and visited marina bars and place on the river. I'm now in New Cumberland WV on the Ohio river, then I move south of Wheeling, near the OH river for a month, then Newport OH on the river again. Marietta OH has a stern wheel festival in September to see. Happy trails and I enjoyed the show as I lived in Sanford/Daytona and when I had a Silverton 373 I went from Daytona to St Augustine, plus I was near St Marys last year on the RV in February. I tend to be near key water locations. Have a great night! Dave

Sounds like a great approach! When RVing, we love being near water. And when boating, we love being near land. Something about that intersection of land & water.

Couldn't watch live, but watched today; and I have to say, I haven't watched a video I didn't very much enjoy! Thanks so much for sharing your adventures and tips. Always look forward to when I have time to sit and enjoy your content. Oh, and I can't help but think how much you two would enjoy the Chesapeake Bay (I'd welcome you at our dock!). Have you boated the Bay? - Gail D

Wow, have not seen you folks for a min! Will check to see if my bell icon reminders are still on. Can you talk about your health? You've both lost quite a bit of weight... my perpetual journey! How did you do it? How was it for you and how do you maintain? What was the catalyst for this move... I mean you looked great before... just sayin! Thanks.

Awww.. thanks. Yes, we've both taken fitness and health as a priority in the past couple years. And really ramped it up last year when Chris decided to complete his first marathon for his 50th birthday. We did a video after that back in November if you want to check it out. We both still run 3x a week, eat a Med diet and generally keep active. It's addictive :)
