- At long last, our new eBikes have come in - and we've been hitting the trails hard with them. We purchased e-Joe EPIK Swans to replace our e-Joe EPIK SEs we got in 2015.
A quick recap on our criteria, why we went with this model, what we love, what we don't and the accessories we got.
NOTE: We are in no way affiliated with e-Joe - we purchased our bikes at full market price. And these bikes aren't shipping until late summer.

We're Cherie & Chris and we've been full time technomads since 2006. We are owned by Kiki (meow).

Thanks for the great information! I love the idea of being able to communicate with my hubby while we are riding so I have put the SENA1 helmets on my high priority "need to buy" list along with DaBrim. I have always hated not being able to wear my wide brim hat when we bike so this is a perfect solution. It's not dorky, it's a necessity for those of that burn in 5 minutes!

Thanks for the very helpful review. Especially interested to hear about how they work on your boat as far as standing up to the rigors of the maritime environment and how the stowage works out.
I have a enjoyed epic. I have had for 3 years and have been looking at the swan because of the low step and another bike for husband. I have loved the epik!
I can handle it myself and if it were any heavier i don’t think I could handle it myself

We purchased Radmini bikes in 2019. We love them. The only thing I would change is their weight. They are very heavy. We bought the Sena1 helmets and love, love, love them. I am going to check out DaBrim. Thanks for your reviews on the e-Joe.
We've heard great things about the Rad Mini... the weight however made them a no-go for our application.

Nicely done review! I'm curious: Has e-joe replaced your white forks or satisfied you in some other way on this issue? We're considering either the EPIK SE or EPIK Swans. As you've had both, would you strongly recommend one versus the other? In our case the step-thru design of the Swan isn't important to us. My current leaning is the SE based on the price difference. Thanks!
No, they've not replaced the forks - we've just gotten used to them. The SE was the prior model from 2015, the Swan is the current model (edit.. opps.. look like they brough it back). We love our Swan, don't think we'd go back to the SE model.
Why do you have a fire extinguisher on your Handel bars?
Those are water bottles.

Do you have a chain or belt on your bike? If a chain how do you keep it from rust?
It's a chain.. and we're sure we'll have to replace it in time.
