Sounds great! Got the 2012 n/a DCT a few months back and now that I replaced the Crankshaft Sensor that went bad, the thing is an absolute dream. How difficult was it to install this exhaust, thinking about doing something similar to mine
question tho did you upsize your exaust or is it 2.5 stock? I'm thinking all you did was replaced your muffler and change your intake? I'm looking for this same sound
The stock naturally aspirated veloster has exhaust piping that is 1.75" in diameter. What I had the shop do was remove all the stock piping from after the 2nd catalytic converter. I then had them replace all that piping with 2.5".
My intake is just a k&n cone filter that fits the stock pipe coming from the throttle body. It livened up the car a bit before I got my exhaust. In the future I'd like to get an actual CAI or SRI though.
nice rear bumper, what's it called?
Which magnaflow muffler is this
Thanks, I hope to be at the next meet.
Sounds pretty good.
So I’m confused do you just have replaced piping and a magma flow muffler? Or no muffler
I have the same car and a res delete just wondering was it a pain getting it on ?
Do you have links to everything you used in this exhaust?

Turbo or atmo ?
What piping did you use 2, 2.5, 3
I wonder what mine would sound like if I delete the resonater I only did muffler delete
Sounds good, I can't make up my mind what exhaust I want
+Ryan Noel Are you looking to go custom or buy a veloster specific exhaust?
I was looking custom because I don't have money for something like Solo
I am really just looking for a muffler and going to have the res removed
Thats the route I went with it. I like my Magnaflow muffler personally. Just wish the car was a bit faster to fit the way it sounds lol
ha yeah but it is a fun car to drive either way
What's your set up?
+Joshua Isaac
Exhaust is 2.5" piping, resonator delete, magnaflow muffler.
My intake is just a K&N cone filter in place of the original airbox.
WHAT SERIES MUFLLER DO U HAVE THE PART NUMBER @@velosterrodney5942
hi did you also used 2.5 inches exhaust tips after the muffler?
Thats absolutely pointless af for a little Hyundai engine. 😂

+Rodney Givens thanks man by the way I have one and it's the same color as yours
+oscar villatoro That's cool man. If you haven't already you should join the veloster.org forum. Lots of fun stuff on there.
@@velosterrodney59422.5 makes no sense whatsoever. 500hp V8 sports cars don't even need that..
Turbo or non turbo?
Yes
does this set up gives your car a little boost of hp?
With my velo being naturally aspirated, I doubt it.
