I wonder how noisy these things are? Also, how would you display things with aspect ratios? Would you have to crop it? How's the vibration level? How many revolutions/hours are these motors rated at? How much are these? Are they modular and scalable? How's the black levels? So many questions unanswered...
In olden days, animated movie credit titles were displayed using this trick. It was called rotoscope. At that time led wasn't discovered. So, paints were used on bright surface. Naturally, it was not programmable/ replaceable. But animations were as effective. For example, watch Kishore Kumar's "chalti ka naam gaadi".
I knew the young kiwi guy that invented this. He was a 6th form college student. He called his invention Perpetual Images. That was is 1991. Had only 6 leds and could only display simple letters in one colour. I suggested he apply for a patent, seeing as he was showing it in a high school science fair. He didn't and the rest is history.
@@VelinSevven I suggested, seeing as he was only 15/16, that he put all his data, plans, drawings etc into an envelope, post them to himself and leave unopened. That way would have a date stamped, which could hold up in court of law. I don't know if he ever did. I do know that there are many professional folk that scoure these types of exhibitions for ideas etc.
I really wanted to know more about the wider images that would be either too small for one fan, or too “clipped” to make visible... how do you get a wall of fans to work in unison for those larger banner type graphics?
I have the single blade the resolution is great and I played it outside at night in my neighbourhood and attracted a lot of attention people want to to see more and loved the hologram effect not bad for $70.00. CAD
Me and other online are kind of having the same thoughts that if these got cheap enough and progress them enough and these could replace TV and monitors
Can you do a separate video on the case that you mentioned towards the end? I'm worried about people sticking their fingers in it trying to touch the display.
How about what are they not? They aren’t 3D. They’re a flat disc spinning in the air. They aren’t holograms. They’re a flat disc spinning in the air. Holograms are 3D. Like, as a for instance, if this were right against a wall how would it differ from a circular projection on that wall? Not much. Noisier. More limited in size. People need to stop calling these “3D holograms”. It’s like if a stagecoach in the 1800s were being marketed as a “horseless carriage” because the horses were set on the sides instead of in front. It’s fraud.
Question. Through the phone is there ANY way to get this to video hologram level? Somehow bridging the app on the phone with google hangouts or zoom or something?

Thought same. So stupid. And this thing is not even 3D, so sht named

Thx for saving my time
@@capjus Seeing it on video is not the same as in person, it can produce some quite impressing 3D looks depending on the image.
his job is to introduce and see what they do, he did that perfectly, the single fan and fan wall are essentially the same thing, just a bit bigger.
19 seconds of actual 'fan' footage.
That and all of that...for just one damn fan, while he has an entire 'wall' of them pretty much. What a disappointment.
Was a very frustrating video!! I wonder what video and motion looks like, and how noisy the fans are.
@@madebythebird I wonder what the windspeed is and if I can use this to replace my traditional blade fan
As an introductory video for someone with little knowledge of these 3D fans, this video was pretty good.
5:17 just press on it or press 3:52
4.3 thousand likes and not one dislike. Well done, thoroughly deserved xx
It's not 3d. It's just a 2d display. The design of the spinning LCDs make the screen "disappear", but there's nothing 3d about the experience.
Why does everyone play music when they turn it on I want to hear the noise
Like a pc cooler, but louder

Don't talk nonsense
Hello, where can you buy this ?
How do you put a video on a grid of fans? How are they connected and synced? Do you need an additional player? Thank you for your answer.
I know this is a few years old but I'm interested in the product link. There are so many varieties out there.
Seems more like a 2D Hologram Fan, doesn't it?
Imagine the electric bill after using this🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Which software do I have to learn to create advertisment for a Hologram Fan?
For my understanding there is nothing 3D with this. This is just a flat projection similar to a standard screen.
Home office?
What is the app, I got 2 of these from Spirit Halloween
Very interesting, who are the top manufacturers for the holographic fans that you know off?
Thank you 🙂
I want to hear what they sound like but it seems like not a single person has posted a video of it without loud annoying music instead of the audio.
New video on a smaller hologram fan dropping tomorrow, stay tuned!
Hi what size is the hologram fan in this video
How about in a long distance ? Like the sky ..

This can apply in high power radar would project direct energy weapon without divergent problem facing direct energy.
These things must heat up or something after 30 seconds. I have yet to find a 'demo' video with more than a few seconds of actual use.
Some company use it as an ads media here. Coca cola is the biggest to use it here in Indonesia.
Impressed sir. Can we make a prototype at home?
Price plz..
Imagine integrating this with flower delivery service 💰
Could it soon do away with the blade and use aurora and electrodynamic driver then look less bulky
Is it possible to program the images and the videos that are shown?
Is there hologram fans in tiny size so that we can fix in the mobile phones
Got mine at holofex best one yet after 3 tries
Can I display any pictures on it or it should need special pictures and videos ??

If it further developed it may one day project real human or projectile or airplane of even food maybe with high refresher rate
