I’m curious if this technology can be incorporated into drone propellers. Creating a holographic image around the body of the drone.
Easily most of this technology is software. the visuals are LED strips that cost almost nothing lol have to say the drone idea would look pretty cool. who knows maybe "aliens" will now be caught on camera lol
not possible maybe because the rpm of drone motors is very high, image at that speed cant be created...
@@akbarmirza1577 Can you please explain why blades spinning quickly (~8500 rpm or 141 rps) could not produce images? Are you saying that the CPU wouldn't be able to keep up with the switching on and off of the LEDS at those speeds? Keep in mind that the CPU wouldn't have to pulse at the same rate of speed as the blades.
@@DrReginaldFinleySr There is no reason. Faster RPM blades greater higher refresh rate and more accurate displays. if you have the LEDs and switching horsepower to back it.
The only sucky thing with putting it on a drone it drones are often quite a distance away from people and you get pretty bad blurring/glare problems with LEDs. And at the same time you wouldn't really be able to see anything in the day

is it possible to get a review of different one from 100 to 1000 so we have the ability to go with what is worth and what we want to buy. There should be different version. Some without the app stuff but the image quality is as good as the 1000 dollars just without all the extra features. I would love to get one. i just don't think I need the app and all it feature.

So would using electroluminescent wire or something like that instead of LEDs make a monochrome (one color) hologram? Like the sign at The Under's Junk Shop?

I want to make a hologram with a fan that shows live updating eathquakes. There are websites that give live data of eathquake location and saverity. Would it be possible to create a live updating globe with this information?

9:45 To be fair, the cheap ones can still have a place. I picked one up for about £30 which includes wifi and an app, albeit not the easiest to use. But my son loves it, and for the price it's very impressive. The DC power cable was too short, that's the only thing I had to resolve.

So I see in your video once you start showing us images I can clearly see the fan blades. Is that normal ?
that's just the result of video capturing only a limited number of frames per second. in reality you see a perfect image. same kind of side effect of video recording like when you look at a high speed car and you have the impression that the wheels are slowly spinning in wrong direction. It's all an effect of the frame per second recorded on the camera.
Can this still be viewed as 3D if behind glass or clear plastic. Basically to protect the blades and hide it away?

Billboard size would need to be directed through a company that specializes in these type of fan displays, and they typically rent them for about... 50k USD, but I heard that quote in a youtube video years ago so the price has probably changed.

I’m confused, because I bought a fan that looks just like that $100 fan (same price) but it does connect to an app and the colors look great..? I mean you can’t compare to a huge hologram fan like you are but it’s incredible for the $100 (or $50 sale) that I paid. Love it.

I have just bought the F70, But my iPhone wan’t Connect to the F70’s Wi Fi. In specific my iPhone can find the right Wi-fi, i put the right password 12345678 but it can’t Connect to the Maschine. And why you Made the software for PC only? I have a MacBook! So, if the APP cant Connect my phone, i can not use this F70! Please help me… what about the extension of the videofiles in the SD CARD? Can i find such format videos in internet?

Do the "Black Bars" display in real life? or are they an artifact of the recording?
No they don't, that's because of the camera shutter speed that causes it to happen.
The black bars amazingly don't display in person! I bought one of these holographic fans not knowing for sure what to expect in person (because at first I had my doubts to be honest, like I was thinking does it actually look like what you see in the video?) and I have to say, the 3d effect is amazing! And you don't see the black bars, it looks like one solid piece. The only thing is that you should be very careful around the blades because they can hurt you bad if you accidentally hit them. Kids should by no means be around these without adult supervision
Now how to make this on a watch like device 🧐

I'm confused, hologram makes one think it would display stuff in 3D so it could be viewed from all angles but this is still displaying things on a 2D plane...
What i'm saying is how is this different from a transparent screen? the only thing this has going for it is that it easier to transport places maybe idk.

Excellent video, Warren! This question is for you and the Hologram Fan community in general. Is there a high-quality hologram fan with an app/software that:
1. Runs on Windows and/or macOS
2. Displays content from the computer to the fan like the projection feature you mentioned
I was commenting on someones comment that reported the video. But there as a tiny comparison at the end. I did skip through the video every 45 seconds because it was an ad for the first item.
However, anyone complaining of distortion is rediculous and clearly do not understand framerate during recording versus the speed of the fan spinning...
This video is slightly deceiving, and maybe should include an ad notice in the beginning cuz this definitely was.

Same bro, getting the cheaper one, if you’re displaying 1 color then it doesn’t matter if it’s washed out, or a smaller image. It’s worth the $900 in savings to get a slightly lower quality unit. It still has 640p resolution, that’s UA-cam quality.

Ya know I really like the video but I sadly don't have 4,000 dollars to drop on an image fan and for being cheap it is still an excellent option.
We have cheaper models now from just $300 that has really good quality.

It’s really hard to hold two fans together
British company - Hypervn has the best holographic quality, not those Chinese brands.
But they are darn expensive, we tried contacting them to partner and they are being arrogant to respond to us, eventually we bought one at US$2200 and yes, the quality is darn good, but no one here in Malaysia wants to ever consider them due to their expensive price tag.

I don't understand how this is supposed to be 3D!! its a flat rotating surface, with LEDs projecting an image or video. If you place the fan on a table, you see that there is no hight. Its like a screen with poor resulution!

I was disappointed in this video as I was looking for comparisons and instead I just got a big commercial for your fan. Sure I would love to buy a $5000 fan for my grandson who is in his 2nd year of graphic design.
