Would you mind sharing camera settings for the recording of this video? What would you say is the most important to avoid the hologram flickering, keep the animation smooth and keep the propellers invisible? Appreciate any help
I would be great if someone modified an xbox series one x with a device like this one. There is a fan at the top of the tower anyway. Could be an interesting looking modification.
some PC fans can do similar things, although they're typically smaller and not always on at the same RPM, which makes programming for consistent output a bit more tricky.

Multiple actually! All bigger, more expensive and complicated. You can project Light on Mist and Water and on thin membranes. There’s also a system that works with rotating mirrors and another one that just shoots lasers at each other.

:( I thought it was spinning 2D grids of LEDs to create an actual volume of LEDs instead of just spinning lines of LEDs to create a screen with forced perspective images

Please regard that the camera which is recording the video can´t technically avoid the flickering. It´s about the recording not the holo projector.

No. Its not an airflow fan it will barely cool it. Also, this is huge

I do know small single lower resolution fans can run off of 60w, so the power requirements probably scales similarly at a resolution/fan rate.

Maybe a cylindrical fan would work for a 3 dimensional effect. Sort of like a jump rope. I'm not sure if that exists though.
