KAYAKING GEAR & CLOTHING - OUR 40 ITEM CHECKLIST

This video quickly runs through the list of 40 items that we check off when we are packing to make sure that we don’t forget to take anything with us on our paddling trips.
We have gradually added to this list of items that we take with us over the years. While 40 items may sound a bit excessive, most of the items on our list are pretty essential in our view.

You probably won’t want to take all the same items as us on your paddling trips but hopefully this may have given you some ideas about useful items to take.
We always seem to be in a rush getting ready to go out on our paddling adventures and going through this checklist does help is not to get too stressed when we are rushing to get all of our gear together and packed into the cars.
