Hi Mark This is my favorite video that you have delivered so far , i’am a former retired Life long railroad worker . I enjoyed your ride along the right away and riding under the trestle bridge , good job .
That's what's interesting about the part of California I'm in. In our bike lanes I have to avoid pine cones, twigs, branches, glass, rocks, sand, palm fronds, people even when there's a sidewalk right next to them, tree root road buckling, potholes and huge cracks.
I don’t ride in bike lanes much. Around me, the vast majority of them have cars parked against the curb with the bike lane in the driver’s door zone. They are full of debris sometimes, but my primary fear is getting doored. I can’t think of a 45 mph road around me that has a bike lane, I’d be on the sidewalk on that kind of road, for sure. We’re also talking much busier roads than shown here, you’d have to have a death wish to ride on those roads (I wouldn’t have 10 seconds without a car passing me).
Just got this Email today from Lyric Cycles regarding my bike that was expected to be delivered in January/February. Hi there, We know you’ve been eagerly awaiting the delivery of your Graffiti X, and we wanted to provide you with an important update regarding its production and shipping timeline. Due to unforeseen delays in the production of key components-specifically the brakes and the bike frames-we’ve experienced a setback in our timeline. Our schedule had us finishing the frames and beginning assembly mid-January and shipping just before Chinese New Year. With the timing of the Chinese New Year holiday, the delay in frame completion leaves us unable to start until mid-February. As a result, we regret to inform you that your bike will now be delivered later than originally expected. While we had initially hoped to ship your bike in late February, we now anticipate that your Graffiti X will be ready for delivery in late March. We understand that this delay is frustrating, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. Please rest assured that we are doing everything we can to get your bike to you as soon as possible, and we are deeply grateful for your continued patience and understanding during this time. If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here to help! Thank you once again for your support.

You make some good points.
Not everyone lives in peaceful Oregon . LOL
@@PaulTammaro True true
if they're gonna start demanding licenses and insurance for e bikes, then clean up the damn bike lanes.
Definitely agree, it can get very dangerous especially night riding.

That sounds like delays that we in batch 1 went through. The bike was to arrive in August but got mine on Halloween day.
