My girlfriend's mother just passed afew hours ago. I was sitting with her and her grandmother and played this song cause I know it was one of her favorites and we all broke down crying happily knowing that she is with the savior. I am an atheist and yet i love this song!! It is so beautiful. I don't care if the lyrics are religious, i just appreciate it as beautiful music; regardless of what the lyrics are singing about. In Christ Alone is a great song, atheist or not. It doesn't matter, i hope we can all just love each other and appreciate this beautiful song.

Robbie just said the lyrics mean nothing to him he just likes the sound, in essence rejecting the gospel. If you are Christian (im assuming here) why do you wish more atheists were like that. And how can you say God bless without trying to share the gospel through scripture with him? You make void the word of God and take Gods name in vain.
Please take a step back and have a little grace. Someone coming from outside the Christian faith could have attacked the gospel, or ridiculed it (and Christians), as others have on my videos. The lyrics of this song contain the core of the gospel message, and a seed was planted. Who knows what this one listening may lead to in God's good time.

None can pluck His people out … but people CAN turn and walk away.
-prodigal son was not plucked, he left willingly, and he was called "DEAD" but was called "ALIVE AGAIN" only after he returned and repented.
-Jesus said to "REMAIN IN Me and I will REMAIN IN you. All who do not REMAIN in Me, are like a branch gathered for the fire"
-the author of Hebrews wrote about saints who have ESCAPED the pollution of the world, even received the HOLY SPIRIT (Gift), but they backslide and returned to a life of unrepentant sin.
-God made it very clear to Moses that "whomsoever has sinned against Me, I WILL BLOT {OUT} OF MY BOOK"
-Ezekiel also wrote how, if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and turns to a life of sin, his righteousness will NOT be remembers if he dies in his sin. SAme thing for the wicked who turn from sin and live righteously - their sin will not be remembered.
So many Scriptures. But NONE of them show anyone able to pluck out of God's hand. However, ALL of them show the fall of saints who turn back into a life of unrepentant sin. Every single one of them.

Man, I saw this years ago. Still love it.
I recently went through a rough patch in my life, almost to the point where I felt there WAS no point. I saw this video posted on Facebook and decided to watch it on a whim. I haven't cried that much in a long time... Powerful voice and an even more powerful song. I give the glory I God above, but He truly used you as His messenger and it came at a time when I needed it the most. You will never know just how much you have impacted my life! God bless you friend... you are doing a wonderful service to our Father. Keep being a vessel for Him... You never know how many people are out there at this moment just like I was just looking for hope in a hopeless situation. I would never put the pressure of calling you a lifesaver... but you are definitely being used by Him to do amazing things and I can only say thank you!

Except for the whole flooding the earth thing...and there was that mass murder of the first born Egyptians...and the many plagues...and condoning slavery...and then the CONSTANT diseases and plagues and starvation and hurricanes and brush fires, and floods, and earthquakes and mudslides and tornadoes and sinkholes...and allowing that Hitler guy to come into a position of influence and authority and do what he did...and allowing all the rapists and murderers to do what they do...and condemning people to eternal hellfire for finite "crimes" without any evidence to warrant belief in this despite putting them on a planet where their very lives rely on evidence... and allowing viral pandemics to claim the lives of literally half a million people in a year...etc.
