Love this music! As a Hebrew scholar, I would like to clarify that these notes are not in the “Bible”. Even if you did interpret the cantalation marks as notes, those marks were only added in the 10th century AD by the Masoretic scribes, to break down the verses into easily singable parts.
There are other preserved Jewish traditions that dictate other cantalation traditions, so this is not the “OG BIBLICAL SINGIN!”
Its just one of many singing traditions present in the middle ages that has been preserved.

Hallelu Yah! Praise YaHUaH (YHWH) Elohiym! Shalom shalom (perfect peace & wholeness) & favor from YaHUaH our Father & our Adon (Master) Yahusha ha’Mashiach, Jesus the Messiah of Natsareth, amein. Sir, please, look up the origin of the Star of David. Here are some answers from Quora for this question:
Is the Star of David the same as the Star of Remphan which Stephen mentioned in Acts 7:43?
Why are some people saying that the Star of David is the "Star of Moloch" or "Star of Remphan"? -related
      1. Mike Ash:
“Because the star of David is just a symbol of Saturn, and Moloch/Remphan are Saturn deities. The “star of David” is NOT a new symbol, in fact it is very ancient, and I do believe that it is a symbol of the Saturn gods. Side note: it’s quite convenient that a perfect hexagonal storm is on the planet of Saturn, isn’t it? (which a Star of Remphan would fit perfectly into). I believe somehow Jews are practicing Saturn worship, the black cube is also a symbol of Saturn, and some Jews wear this weird black cube called “tefillin”. The pagan religion of Saturnalia (again worship of Saturn) was introduced into Ancient Rome through Jewish interlopers. Also, Christmas (celebrating a crucified Jew) is just Saturnalia with a different name. Definite Saturn worship going on here.”
      2. Sergius Paulus
      “Moloch, Saturn, and King Solomo.
Saturn is the only large planet in oure solar system, that the ancients could actually see a hexagonal shape on the north pole of Saturn.
For an unknown reason the northern part of Saturn has the shape of a Hexagon. Which is a symbol really quite common in many cultures of the world.
However, this symbolism did not appear until the reign of king Solomon. King Solomon was the wealthiest man on earth at that time of his reighn, so basically he would have countless wives and concubines.
But with all that lust and power came at a price. When one of his wives lured him into the occult of witchcraft. (which is now known as Kabala).
Many scholars have already debunked that the star of David had nothing to do with his father David. But more with Solomon his son. It's believed the pentogram symbol represents Lucifer. Which is Ironic because when thinking of a holy place, Israel is a polytheistic Mecca of religious beliefs. But Judiasm and the Hesuit Order is by far the most prominent.
Ironically though, when asking a contemporary Israeli, what the flag represents. Usually the answer will be star of David, which is never mentioned in the Bible…but more evidence is uncovering it's origin. And so far all the signs lead to Solomon's ring, Saturn, and the worshipping of Moloch.”
      3. Leeloo Dallas
“The answer is found in the Torah itself, Amos 5:26-27, the Bible Acts 7:43, and the history of symbolism which despite fervent wishes of certain interest groups, is crystal clear.
“Remphan, (hrem-fan') is the King James Version of the Bible's rendering of the Greek word variously appearing in Acts 7 verse 43 as Ρομφα, Ρεμφάν, Ρεμφαμ, Ραιφαν, and Ρεφαν. It is part of a quotation from Amos 5 verse 26 where the Septuagint's reading raiphan or rephan stands the Hebrew Chiun or Kewan. The Greek forms are probably simple mistakes for the Hebrew, k (qoppa) having been replaced by r (resh) and ph substituted for v (yod). Kewan is probably the Old Babylonian Kayawanu, the planet Saturn, another (the Akkadian) name for which is Sakkut, which appears as Siccuth in the earlier part of the verse.”
The widely known association of the Hexagram with the planet Saturn is not debatable. Ask any Astrologer Wiccan or Kabbalist adept, what planet does the Hexagram represent, and they will tell you, the planet Saturn..
This association of “Jews”, Canaanites Akkadians & Phoenicians before them with Saturn worship is nothing new.. There is actually a video of a Hebrew scholar discussing this on UA-cam..
"Others say that this is a mark of respect to Saturn, either because they owe the basic principles of their religion to the Idaei, who, we are told, were expelled in the company of Saturn and became the founders of the Jewish race, or because, among the seven stars that rule mankind, the one that describes the highest orbit and exerts the greatest influence is Saturn. A further argument is that most of the heavenly bodies complete their path and revolutions in multiples of seven." Tacitus on the Jews
If you are a Christian, I’d also suggest you read what Jesus says of the Pharisees in Rev 2:9 & Rev 3:9.. Some Christians argue these passages refer to faux Christians in the contemporary movement, but it’s hard to accept this when twice within Rev 2 & Rev 3 it states “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”…”

NOW these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which Yahuah Elohaykem commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it: That you might fear Yahuah Elohayka, to guard all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, you, and your son, and your son's son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged. Hear therefore, O Yashar'el, and guard to do it; that it may be well with you, and that ye may increase mightily, as Yahuah Elohai of your fathers has promised you, in the land that flows with milk and honey. Hear, O Yashar'el: Yahuah Elohaynu, Yahuah is one (echad): And you shall love את Yahuah Elohayka with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart: And you shall teach them diligently unto your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. And you shall write them upon the posts of your house, and on your gates. And it shall be, when Yahuah Elohayka shall have brought you into the land which he swore unto your fathers, to Avraham, to Yitschaq, and to Ya`aqov, to give you great and goodly cities, which you built not, And houses full of all good things, which you filled not, and wells dug, which you dug not, vineyards and olive trees, which you planted not; when you shall have eaten and be full; Then beware lest you forget Yahuah, which brought you forth out of the land of Mitsrayim, from the house of bondage. You shall fear Yahuah Elohayka, and serve him, and shall swear by his name. Ye shall not go after other elohiym, of the elohiym of the people which are round about you; (For Yahuah Elohayka is a jealous El among you) lest the anger of Yahuah Elohayka be kindled against you, and destroy you from off the face of the earth. Ye shall not tempt Yahuah Elohaykem, as ye tempted him in Maccah. Ye shall diligently guard the commandments of Yahuah Elohaykem, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he has commanded you. And you shall do that which is right and good in the sight of Yahuah: that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land which Yahuah swore unto your fathers, To cast out all your enemies from before you, as Yahuah has spoken. And when your son asks you in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which Yahuah Elohaynu has commanded you? Then you shall say unto your son, We were Phar'oh's bondmen in Mitsrayim; and Yahuah brought us out of Mitsrayim with a mighty hand: And Yahuah showed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Mitsrayim, upon Phar'oh, and upon all his household, before our eyes: And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he swore unto our fathers. And Yahuah commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear Yahuah Elohaynu, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day. And it shall be our righteousness, if we guard to do all these commandments before Yahuah Elohaynu, as he has commanded us. DEVARIYM (DEUTERONOMY) 6:1-25 את CEPHER
Now after that Yahuchanon (John) was put in prison, Yahusha came into Galiyl, preaching the Besorah (Gospel, Good News) of the Kingdom of Elohiym, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of Elohiym is at hand: repent ye, and believe the Besorah. MARQUS (MARK) 1:14-15 את CEPHER
Therefore let all the house of Yashar'el know assuredly, that Elohiym has made that same Yahusha, whom ye have crucified, both Adonai and Mashiach. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Kepha and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Kepha said unto them, Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Yahuah-Yahusha (Jesus Christ) for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Ruach Ha'Qodesh. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as Yahuah Elohaynu shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this perverse nation. MA'ASIYM (ACTS) 2:36-40 את CEPHER

The first time i ever opened a bible was in 2004 as a homeless street busker on my first night in a catholic half way house. I randomly flipped through the hundreds of pages until I felt the impulse to stop and opened the book and read only the first paragraph i looked at. That paragraph was Psalm 46. It failed to inspire me and offered no insight or personal comfort so i closed the book and went back to my room. Another resident was in there playing my guitar. As I walked in he said "hey brother, have a seat you're just in time for a song" and this man started to play some original music but when he began to sing, he sang Psalm 46 to me. Not 30seconds after I had read it in the bible. This was the profundity and insight I was looking for in the bible but it was given to me in music. It felt like I was being shown the way back home.

David played the lyre for King Saul, after God, decided He would no longer help Saul for his disobedience. God left Saul and consequently, evil moved in and he was tortured, mentally by evil but when David, son of Jesse was known to be the best musician around, Saul hired David to play the lyre for him every time evil would overtake Saul and it brought Saul peace. This is just so fascinating. Thank you for showing us this. It’s truly a blessing. BTW, I wrote this comment at the 1:55 mark and I see you mentioned King David. This is amazing and I wonder if David actually played like this. Again, thank you for your hard work in learning all this and putting it into the real sounds of the Old Testament.

Beautiful. I have an amazing story. One day I was driving home, when all of a sudden the Lord came to me in spirit. I felt very close to Him. I knew if I asked him to play any song on the radio he would, I guess to bless my faith.
So I said "ok, Lord play "Come as you are by Nirvana".
I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly…
I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling.
He stayed with me for 10 minutes in my driveway. until I got outta the car.
A couple months after that I started getting amazing prayers answered way more often, because it helped me quit doubting when I pray and I was lined up with biblical instructions. It's 6 years later and I still get answered prayers in Jesus name.

I wouldn't have asked for just ANY Nirvana song... But, my conscience approved of that one and I asked in faith. To back it up.
A while after that happened, I was watching a preacher on UA-cam. I felt this compassion come over me by the Holy Spirit. So I prayed for him. "Father, I pray you double this man's ministry, his finances, and his marital life, in Jesus holy name, I demand and I decree. Amen."
The next day he released a new video. He was standing on stage for a bit, smiling. Then he said "The Lord has just doubled his ministry. He's doubled his finances and He's doubled his marital life...
My heart started pounding from shock, because he was saying my exact prayer from the night before. I wasn't even thinking about how I had prayed when he said it.
Then later that week another prayer just as impossible was answered. It went on like that for months. I've had trials and tribulations, and ups and downs, but it still happens.

David would not have known these tunes…
These cantillations are only found in the masoretic texts.
That means that they were added 1000AD.
If you have 66 books in your Bible then you have the Protestant Bible which is based on these masoretic texts.
The masoretic texts are less accurate. In fact, they only match Old Testament references of Jesus and the apostles 20% of the time.
The Septuagint matches these references 80% of the time and therefore a much better Old Testament.
That’s why you should have 72-73 books in your Bible.
These cantillations are not in the Septuagint.

This is a fundamental misunderstanding. The frequency of the notes in relation to each other would be the same as it was in antiquity, but that doesn’t mean the frequency of each note would be the same as the ancient hebrews used. A4 could have been anywhere from 400hz - 500hz, aka the entire thing could be pitch shifted and a totally different frequency as pitch standardization didn’t start until the modern era.

    • @williamjohnson4417
      @williamjohnson4417 7 місяців тому

@@lepercolony8214 A, C nor F would be the notation, it would a be a Hebrew 12 note notation, but that doesn't change anything i said. Call it A4 440hz or ♀it makes no difference. (im using the terms octave, A4 etc. here because of our naming convention) a tuning fork at 440hz will resonate with a tuning fork at 880hz and a tuning fork at 220hz. that is the constant. we call that an octave, because we typically break it into 8, but you can break it into 12 and the root notes in each octave (or for 12 i guess duodectave?) will have the same mathematical relation to one another. as the root for example what we call A4 or 440 shifts, the lower and higher "notes of resonance" (A3 and A5) will shift with it, no matter if they are called A3/A5 or §♀§
and im using 440hz (A4) as a example because that is the root note in modern standard tuning (and that is the note where the math is easiest) in reality it would be extremely unlikely for them to have had a note at exactly 440, which is my point, we can't emulate the exact frequency because we don't know.
but say there just so happened to be a ancient Hebrew bard who just so happened to tuned to root note of 440hz. lets call that א‎ (1 in hebrew) there would be 11 more notes (440-880hz divided in 12 equal parts) then א‎ would repeat at 880hz , that is the constant which would be the same on another planet.
So we can divide an octave into 12 parts instead of 8 and emulate the sound of the Ancient Hebrews, but we don't know exactly what frequency the root of that 12 note scale should be, it's just a guess.

We are commanded to celebrate Passover not ISHTAR. We are also told to follow the solar calendar which put Passover on April 3rd, 2024. We celebrated yesterday. If you follow the lunar calendar it falls on the 22nd. We are children of the light so we follow solar. Y'all need to look into it...please Father and get out of men's traditions. Easter (ISHTAR) is a false god. Eggs and bunny rabbits has nothing to do with Jesus and everything to do with paganism.

Thanks for the post. My mother was dying from breast cancer. A gal from hospice would come over once a week and play guitar and harp. She left the harp with us for about a year. Almost anyone could make some beautiful noise with it. I'd play for my mom and sisters after dinner. It was beautiful but because my hand is damaged I'd only get 5-10 minutes in...I didn't want to stop. Lovely instrument. I hope to play with David later.

Family. It was in 1979 that I was blessed to be Born Again according to The Gospel of John chapter 3. I had the most
extraordinary experience when The Good Lord Jesus Christ touched me and made me His very own child . The Lord showed me from 2 Corinthians
Chapter 6:14-18. that if He was
to be my Father and I His son I had to obey the scriptures I just quoted from Corinthians.
I had no choice but to choose to obey God and not man's Tradition . Acts 5:29-32. I hope
and pray dearly beloved that you would pray and seek God's
Will. Jesus Himself prayed to The Father saying " Not my will but thine be done. " It is written in 1Samuel 15:22.." To OBEY is better than Sacrifice. God bless you and your family,

As a Jew, it’s always a pleasure when people of other cultures and religions appreciate our tradition, and you explained the concepts correctly. The only thing I’d point out is that trope or “cantillation points” are not exactly musical notes or punctuation. They’re more of a mix where each mark is on a word and has a different sound. When the Torah is read aloud, trope adds a more musical punctuation even though the reader isn’t actually singing. I’m not quite sure how the marks got translated to the notes you played, but they sounded lovely.

This is not a religious tradition, this is a western interpretation of what they think is "Middle Eastern" and they fail spectacularly as all the music here in this clip is literally western and not middle eastern. It is just how westerns think Middle Eastern sound, and that "tradition" is also very much part of the European Jewish "traditions" and sounds, but it is not authentic to us in the Middle East, the actual True Middle Eastern Jews, Christians and Muslims have a very distinct musical Middle Eastern Tradition and it is not the one in this video.

Sadly unlike our Western friends, we have very limited digital documentation of our cultural heritage. But you can still find a lot of stuff. Most modern Arabic music (excluding Arabic pop) is based on the past religious music. Again even within the Arabic world we recognise that during the 60s Renaissance of Arabic music, mainly in Egypt and Lebanon, we (the Arabs) took part in replacing our traditional cultural Arabic music with more acceptable western tones... If you are not used to our music you would think that our instruments are out of tune, I will try to point you to some traditional although non religious Palestinian music, which is almost the same on all the Levant. We are commanded to celebrate Passover not ISHTAR. We are also told to follow the solar calendar which put Passover on April 3rd, 2024. We celebrated yesterday. If you follow the lunar calendar it falls on the 22nd. We are children of the light so we follow solar. You need to look into it...please Father and get out of men's traditions. Easter (ISHTAR) is a false god. Eggs and bunny rabbits has nothing to do with Jesus and everything to do with paganism.

Praise Yah! Say his name!! Yeshua! There is power in his name.

    • @Warriormon87
      @Warriormon87 7 місяців тому

The idea it should be pronounced "Yeshua" comes from the idea that there is no J is Hebrew. But that isn't really true, they just use the same letter for J as they do Y. For example Jerusalem starts with the same letter, and we know they pronounced it Jerusalem with a J sound. It's really no different than how the letter "C" in English can make a "K" sound or a "S" sound depending on the word. But people made a big nothing burger out of it. I'm pretty sure the Greek texts written by the Apostles use a J character for his name, meaning we can be pretty certain it was pronounced Jeaus or something close to that.

@@Warriormon87what your saying is pointless, no sin in calling him Jesus or iesus, it’s language transliteration , but his real name is yeshua , or yehoshua, wich has a deep meaning and can be find in scripture

This came on, from my “Watch Later” list, while I was two days late, laying in the mud, working on a truck and I can’t tell what’s wrong with it. Feeling physically bad, feeling sorry for myself, mad at the condition of the world.
This music came on and I almost bumped my head on the bottom of my truck when I started praising the Lord.
    Thank you
