I just 'discovered' your videos this morning. Thank you for using your gift (the music as well as the technological know-how to put it all together) to minister to the world. A side note---for people who criticize modern hymnody, when a song speaks truth, it endures. Not every hymn that was written in the last 400 years of Christianity has had that blessing. Praising God is always right when it comes from the heart.

I just found this young man this morning. Our sanctuary choir and orchestra are preparing to do a virtual anthem in a couple of weeks of a piece that we were practicing before Covid-19. So, our minister of music and the media team have put together the soundtrack and sent it to each of us to record ourselves and then upload our results. I know we will not get everyone involved because we have some elderly folks and also some who may be techno challenged. My hope is that we could get upwards of 50-75 singers and about 50 orchestra members to participate.
This young man has been an inspiration to me personally to approach our project with much more enthusiasm.
Thank you David Wesley for another great A Capella song! Your talent really ministers to me. Good music touches me deeply. Classic hymns and praise songs are my favorite part of a worship service. I like musical instruments too, but I've often witnessed a great worship song sound like a train wreck when too many are used. When they are done A Capella, it's really a special treat, especially when sung by a congregation that has a lot of people who know how to sing out in four-part harmony on key. Listening to your one-man choir is a worship service I can have any time I want and I thank the Lord God Almighty for that.

In recent years I started making up my own bass parts for several worship songs. This was the very first one I tried it on and to this day is the song I know the best. Hearing your full A Capella arrangement (with your bass part being nearly identical to the one I made up) feels incredible to me. A song rarely has touched me this much. You are truly blessed.

I was praying for a friend last night. They got saved last night as well. But theres more. They have no idea how pentecostal churches worked; they haven't ever been in one before. As I was praying for them I had my hand on their head, and I start hearing them speaking in tongues and when I stopped praying I felt my hand and it was covered in oil. In fact their whole head had started leaking oil. I did not use oil before praying for them, it welled up out of them. I have seen it at revivals, dripping from people's elbows. The friend also told me that they were a bit dizzy, like they were about to fall, almost like being slain in the spirit. I knew this to be true, not just because of the other two things, but because, how would somebody, who had never been in a church before, make up the feelings of almost being slain in the spirit? And they did not know about speaking in tongues either, yet I saw it last night. They also described a heat on their forehead, like a really concentrated heat which I know to be that of the Holy Spirit. I am telling you, be prepared for what is coming because Jesus is coming, and each day you wake up is another day closer to Christ's return.
