Donna, I'm an avid lover of pinks and purples, I would really like to see you do something with just the two colors I mentioned. I love the way you teach about your pressing, so your seams are all matched up...Thank you for your tutorials, I so enjoy watching them...☺🌺🌷
I would love to see a pattern that you create using the little triangles that you trim off from the blocks. I think half-square and quarter-square triangles would be very striking in a pillow, placemat, table runner or quilt border and I'd be fascinated to see what you come up with, because your own patterns are always so attractive.
I think with the extra strips, I would have tried some darker accent fabrics with the unused lighter prints and made the entire quilt larger. I have been working on new quilts for babies and weddings during the pandemic as well as 2 queen sized ones for my son and one all hand appliqued and hand quilted queen sized quilt for my daughter. Just finished 2 lap quilts for 2 grandsons! All new ideas and Quilts are welcome! How I would love a long arm! Keep sewing
I'm so sorry for your loss. It was obvious from the beginning of your post that something had touched you quite deeply and very sadly. Big hugs for Dennis, you and Greg.
Good morning Donna, Matt and all at Jordan Fabrics, I do like the blue and it reminds me of a pair of jeans that have been good for a number of years and are just so comfy. The little red one would look so lovely on a side table Donna and the one at the side of my chair is lying empty awaiting if it needs a new home, hee hee hee. I love how you explain everything to all but never do it in a condesending manner, unlike some others that are on UA-cam. You remember that we are all at different stages of quilting and always make it so that even a beginner can make these works of art. You would have made a wonderful teacher because of your softness and gentleness but because of how you say things and how you do things. You make me think of a favourite teacher that had all the time in the world for his students and still got them the grades. Thank you flower for bringing that gentle touch to all out here in craftyland. Stay safe flower all of you, for although this pandemic is still going around, we have that new light at the end of this dark tunnel where we can all look forward to, it's just a matter of patience. Crafty hugs from Norah, Glenochil Village, Central Scotland
Какая красота! - (What a beauty!). You are a great needlewoman, Jordan! Thank you so much for the lesson! (This will give you a drink from Russia). I wish you well-being and good health, Jordan...
I have made two Queen Sized quilts from this fabric collection and I am working on a third! I love the fabulous Edyta Sitar and her beautiful fabrics! This was a great pattern to showcase them. Edyta and Donna, a match made in quilters heaven!
Hello Jordan Family, I made a Ring of Wreaths a few years ago which is nicely folded on my livingroom sofa, used by the family when we're all gathered there. Loved making it, and love even more seeing it in my home. I write today to ask if it would be possible for you to show the complexity of a quilt pattern. Either by number, 10 for the very advanced to 1 for beginners, or simply by name, very easy to most difficult. It would help all quilters, the more advanced by knowing how much time it takes, or for the beginners who don't want to get too complicated. I know I would appreciate it. Many thanks for all the videos and creative patterns you come up with. I never miss a video, and enjoy your method of teaching. Keep going, you please many people. Beryl Baslé
Hi Donna just wanted to say your lovely smile in this video has made me feel better in another lock down in the UK.Thanks for all you do its sooo appreciated .god bless and keep safe . Ps love this pattern another quilt to add to the list .
Hi Liz, I live in Ireland so we are practically neighbours. I just saw on the BBC news about the even more stringent lockdown. Trying to get my quilting and knitting mojo back. I was happy to see the video. Donna's always so encouraging and with the way things are now that isn't easy.
@@IRISHLASS273 Hi Janet I am not very good with the internet so I make mistakes all the time .so please forgive me for that .in lock down it is like my husband and I are serving a prison sentence even though we Havnt done anything wrong .so we are hoping to get the vaccine in the spring so then we will be able to move forward.kerp safe god bless.
This is a beautiful quilt and I would love to make it however I'll have to figure out a different option for the pinwheels. This version has so much wasted fabric.
I love that you made the quilt & table topper in colors other than green. It really showed off the beautiful design. Another winner! Thanks also for your generous giveaway quilt. Happy Quilting!
🎤 Oh Donna..... 🎵 Oh Donna....🎼....I have missed you! Also, I always say when you are making a quilt, "How come she doesn't give THIS one away!" Today is the day that I really remember pining for this quilt... These colors really get my sensors going! I LOVE this quilt! I used to wonder why anyone would want a quilt already made if they were a quilter themselves...but the reality is, I'd love a quilt made by you. I am so fascinated by your talent... and I often wonder how long you have been doing this. I have learned so much from you but yet have such a long way to go. Your tips are the best!
Great vid. Your vids really keep me sane in these difficult times. In England we can't get out to buy fabric right now, so it's good to see someone is productive.
