If you have a stick with a pov hat it's much nicer to configure that for free look so it operates just like in fsx and p3d. I much prefer it to the fixed views. It's not straightforward but is possible if you know what to do (basically it involves the pov up down left right locked options in your controller menu) and has transformed the sim for me.

😬 that is a good question. I have the same problem except it's my checklists and ATC. I'm going to try to uninstall and reinstall. I know that's a hassle but nothing else I've done has worked. I'll be reporting the issue. Ill tell you where you can too when I get that info. The more people that report that, the more likely they will fix it.

Yes I have keyboard, mouse, stick throttle and xbox controller all set up. Making sure you don't have overlapping inputs is important (Like throttle in multiple spots.) it can cause confusion.
The flight assistant notes come up in white boxes in the middle of the screen and tell me that the Throttle is on button A. It never works. I use F2, F3 instead.
Try going into controls. Click the search by input. Press num 0. See what pops up. Clear all inputs except for the one you want. If the command you want isn't in there program it by searching in the search by name.
I don't have a discord but I have an online flight sim academy I just released that has a good amount of information on programing buttons. It also has a community section where you can send those pics keyboardflightacademy.thinkific.com/ You may be able to click on the discussion section of my UA-cam page to send me your control pics. I wish UA-cam had better communication functionality so I could help more.
If you are trying to play keyboard and mouse then you are correct. It is unplayable in my opinion using keyboard and mouse. Buy a cheap controller for your PC. Its the best inexpensive option. If you wqant a good experience buy a joystick. That is more expensive though.
@@Keyboard_Flight_Academy Thanks for the reply. I'll give it a try with a controller. They could create a simple default controls profile for keyboard with more reliable keys like roll with q;e, yaw a;d similar to KSP controls (i rlly like the controls there)
Yeah well. The parking brake input is not even working, no matter what i assign there. I've changed something to Roll settings and then put the same controller settings back and now it looks like the sensitivity is not properly set. Is there anything I can do? It is unplayable once again.
Go into the controls menu make sure on the side you are searching "all" (not assigned or any of the other settings.) Type throttle in the search and scroll through until you see one that says something like all throttles or just plain throttle (not throttle 1, 2, 3 or 4). I hope that helps. I'm not looking at the game so that's my best guess.

Flight sims definately frustrate people who have never touched one and are looking for a game rather than a sim. Using an xbox controller is probably the best beginners choice.

This game has awful controls. I am using keyboard and mouse, after changing some keyboard binds the mouse isnt working.

I have a saitek x52 and I put my co trolls to default setting by mistake,and now when I throttle up it's only left engine.some please help

Game doesn't even include a mouse yoke, lol, this game was so fucking over rated, a waste of $100, I played it once, won't play it again.
