Project Shrek - MX5 Build - Ep5.1 Thoughts on next steps

I spent some time today trying to come up with a plan. I thought about building some suspension mount jigs, but realized that the front subframe is solid with just the shock mounts floating. If I remove the engine I should be able to position the 2007 subframe on the green car and build the mounts directly.
It will then be easier to figure out how the engine fits and what needs to be cut out.
