Awesome flying and review, Wayne! 😃 I guess as a first drone to learn to fly without getting too scared... Not bad! Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
hi, how high can you go, before the camera frezzers, and what distance can you go, thanks, I can get Hight about 30 mitres, and my camera freezers, cheers
Looking at the footage the max distance was about 560m and max altitude around 56m. You will get worse results if you are flying directly above yourself
I have the same drone...I see you never calibrated your gimbal as the horizon is skew in most of your videos..I have had no problems with follow me modes etc and flight time per battery is an average of 22min.. O have a DJI phantom,a LYRC L900,4drc F11,JJRC X11,MJXRC Bugs 5 and 2..my beast is still my favorite.
If I was on the "follow me" mode and there was an obstacle while following me, will it try to avoid it and for example go higher to avoid the obstacle and keep following me?
In a word no... two words: no and no. Aside from follow me just not seemingly working (for me at least) the obstacle detection means it just stops flying (at which point if follow me did work, it would lose the lock and then just sit there until you did something manually)
Kind of. Pick something with an HDMI out and then plug your goggles into them and you have something. I don't know if there are any phones that will to a USB-C to HDMI or something similar
I never liked 5G drones. It's true I tested just 2 in my life, while the lag was at both for me such a big problem and also possible to reach just small distances. Or say in other words, with distance also lag increased. If I can ask here, what you thing would be good 5.8GHz cinema drone with own display on controller? Price up to 300$(250€, 215£). If I add here, those additional functions like follow me mode, circle mode,... worked already 4.5 years ago at Hubsan H501S X4, so that not works as it should now at 200$ worth drone is absolutely big miss.
I'm not sure the quad you are after exists. There's practically nothing with displays on the radio at all (probably because of the cost to produce them) Hubsan were kind of on there own doing that. Presumably if you wanted a cinema drone, you are wanting a camera on a 3-axis gimbal and again, almost everything is going to use a phone now. It's laggy, but the general idea is you are higher and slower and so it matter less. The DJI quads obviously are the best in this class - but more pricy
I mean, I think I understand what you are saying. Yes - this drone is fine and it flies ok - but at the price, you might as well buy DJI which is way better
How about trying not to say DJI when reviewing drones like this one. For what it is, its a great quad, gps, brushless, good flight time, good range, stable in wind, decent video/pics, 3 axis gimble, fail safe return to home, obstacle avoidance so people wont smash them and easy to source affordable replacement parts. With you there's no appreciation, its "oh its not a dji, i love dji".
The problem is with this quad is the marketing - which over-promises and then underdelivers. When the marketing essentially tells you it does everything a DJI drone does but fails, then that needs to be addressed. I also said, that that taking the comparison out it does an OK job and it was up to the viewer to decide if they thought the video quality was good enough for them. I just goes to show how subjective reviews are as you say "decent video/pics" At best I could rate the video as "workable" it was shaky with a weird resolution and a low frame/bit rate. Also I've got 1 DJI quad and over 100 which aren't DJI - so I don't think I could be described as a DJI lover.... it's just for a drone designed as a camera quad they are the obvious standard to compare to.
LMAO, telling the drone to shut it!! That's why I subscribed
new to using a drone...you are the second video recommending NOT to install the laser sensor. thanx.
how to use active tracking and rotate to follow an object? is it use in mode 2 or mode 1? if in mode 1 how to start flying it ?
I think the sound is 'headless mode' sound

Thanks MC - hope you are doing well

It was just like a D,J,I, 😂😂😂
Was you getting your hair off with it. 😂😂
Nice vid mate, keep them coming. 👍
Haha - DJI flying os a bit more easy-going as they generally just work like they should :)
Oh boy another camera bird! Hope it can keep up with the new fimi mini
I haven't used the Fimi's, but my impression is that they are a class above this one
my 4G android phone doesn't see the Drone wifi what do I do
Laser Obstacle Avoidance How Far It Can Detected ?
Nice

My friend what cell phone use this drone
I think you just need to make sure your phone can use the 5.8 wifi
What about the wind resistance?
No noticeable difference - we're not talking about a race quad here. This thing doesn't go that quick to start with
I think I'd be slightly tempted by one of these camera drones if you didn't have to use your phone with them. Are they hackable for goggles?
Kind of. Pick something with an HDMI out and then plug your goggles into them and you have something. I don't know if there are any phones that will to a USB-C to HDMI or something similar
I have a cheaper GPS SG 107 pro made by same company and its gps reception is bad. I can see your gps signals on the app frequently change too much.

4.30 big fart 🤣💨
I will grant you my "errrrrrrm" noise does sound like one, but my actual farts are even louder
you are a dji owner and holeothers dron is garb for you the dron is fine make a nice fly and hovering you are so hilurius
