So much of Italy is like an open air museum. One can walk freely around the different piazzas, loggias, etc. and it doesn't cost you a thing! For instance, the Loggia dei Lanzi and the entire Piazza della Signoria here in Florence. Absolutely beautiful, historic, and totally free! Grazie, Paul in Firenze
Since you ended in the navigli area, before the recent inflation spike you could have a decent dinner, with a good variety of food types too, if you go for an aperitivo at a bar. You need to order a pricey cocktail (around 10 euros), but that opens up the buffet as well. I fear this year it's gone up in price, though.
Hi! I'm not really sure of its precise location, but if I remember correctly we saw it on the way to St. Ambrogio Church, in front of the Sacro Cuore University (I don't remember the street or which side of the university was it, but if you have time to walk around the campus I think you should see it!). Sorry for not being able to give you more details!
Sant’Ambrogio was considered the first true “Pope” in history: he was a Roman Patrician that was so powerful to even intimidate the last Roman Emperors . Milan at the time was the capital of the western Roman Empire and Ambrogio ruled it if he was a sort of vice emperor. He still is among the 4 founding fathers of christianism together with Saint Peter, Saint Girolamous, Sant’Augustine.

So well said!
There's also the famous Panzerotto by Luini. Very famous in the center of Milan, especially for students.
Thanks for this recommendation! I'm definitely trying it the next time :)
Love this video 🥰 you gave me so many ideas for places to visit!
Thank you, I'm happy to hear that! ❤️

Guillermo Urbin , It is in via Sant'Agnese, a street very close to Sant'Ambrogio. Many students go there for having lunch in spring and summer.
@@DramaticallyExpatic No worries! Thank you so much!

If I remember correctly, it was April! April is generally a good month to visit, might be a bit cool, but not cold, and it's generally pretty sunny

Why go to Milan without money? Homeless? Stay home is better.
Wow, so sorry for your limiting beliefs! Hope this mindset doesn't stop you from seeing beautiful places.
What a depressed mind
